Promo
Erm, I might have my weeks mixed up.![]()
I wish it was next week![]()
Yeah, I need to see what ABC is doing next week on Sunday. Yesterday was the Titantic miniseries (didn't see it), the week before that was a double dose of GCB (caught it online).
Lovely, have you seen GCB yet?
Okay, so next week ABC is airing a new TV movie called Firelight.
No i havent seen GCB. doesnt look like my cup of tea.
It's an acquired taste. I will say that it is a good match for DH; it goes after the same female audience, soapy, frothy fun.

yeah that was something at ABC did that annoyed me. They started calling GCB "The New Housewives"
I'm just picky but i dont like when networks use one show to promote another.
Oh? It's cancelled then? I lost interest quickly.
I watch very little TV anymore. Am thinking of cancelling my satellite service once DH is done. Or maybe I'll wait to see if VP turns up on the new DALLAS.
I have more dvds than I need and my computer gets more attention than any other toy in the house.
Online streaming does make cable seem inefficent, but some shows are harder to find online than others. Also, watching a show on TV lets you see it before it gets leaked online or put on the company's website.
Double posting again....
Yes PAM AM is cancelled, ABC hasn't announced it yet, but all actors have moved onto other projects, the timeslot is occupado, and ABC is sitting pretty and doesn't need a low rated drama on the schedule (like NBC who will literally air anything).
I really liked PAN AM, and I found it a good match for DH. But I like GCB too. I don't know which show is a better fit, but I can tell you which show ABC is backing right now.![]()
I never havent watched either
I tend to watch more DVD's than i do TV.
Totally understandable, DVDs are easy to come by. Do you go to the library to test out new titles, or do you buy them at the stores. I go to the library because most stores don't give credit or cash back on DVDs when you try to return them (they'll just give you the same product again if it is defective).
I buy things and hope for the best.
Like Desperate Housewives. I went out and Bought season 1 after years of saying id NEVER watch it![]()
So what is your 'biggest regret' or a show that you bought and would return if you could?
For me, THE OUTER LIMITS. It's an old sci-fi show. I read nothing but great reviews and found it was awful once I watched it. I was in a kitchen/bath store yesterday and did the unthinkable--I bought the first season of LOIS AND CLARK thanks to our previous discussion. It was $9.99. How could I resist?
I saw MY SO-CALLED LIFE on sale at Future Shop (half price). I've read James from London's reviews, which are good, so I'm thinking about going back and buying it.
My So Called Life is amazing, Claire Danes at her best. A wonderful portrayl of teen agnst (true quality not like One Tree Hill or 90210). It's so realistic in its depiction of American girl Angela Chase and her daily battles in home and school. It was very ahead of its time and not well placed on the ABC schedule (the network didn't know what to do with the show). A must see.![]()
Minx I'm sure you'll enjoy Lois & Clark, I'm still on S1.![]()
