..although problems coming from the absence of babies can be understandable. Look at what happened to all of Valene's.

Sue Ellen is my favorite because she was FUN to watch...highly entertaining watching her trials and tribulations...she was the naughty girl who was also a good girl...she pretended to know less than she actually did...which was in her favor in some situations. Not boring by any means.

Come to think...with Abby, it was highly entertaining watching her trials and tribulations...she frequently pretended to know less than she actually did...which was in her favour in some situations...she knew that her husband was the father of his ex-wife's babies over a year before he figured it out (and three years before he was told) and she knew that Val's babies were alive from the night they were stillborn and months and months before she told Valene that her babies were alive.

as a lifetime fan i honestly have to say cally.she brought out the best in JR in ways that sue ellen never could.she was a welcome addition to southfork and like bobby told april in europe "JR really loves cally".we got to see a side to JR that we never saw before.i was on the edge of my seat when he ran into vanessa on his honeymoon hoping that he wouln't cheat on cally and surprise of all surprises,he stayed faithful.now don't get me wrong,i never wanted to see JR change as a villan and stop his evil ways in business but i had hoped that he would have evolved into a real family man.it broke my heart when he destroyed the painting in his office that cally gave him(portrate of himself)by crossing out her name with a magic marker.as usual,he turned on her in the end by paying off a marriage counsler to break them up before throwing her off the ranch for good.

On the list i voted Ms Pamela but in reality it is Barbara Bel Geddes character who comes second for me Miss Ellie. Babs would have been 90 this year.
My avatar is an autograph of Coronation Street's Philip Lowrie (Dennis Tanner, an original character) which he personalised for me.

I'm not quite sure what that means. Were you started on the show from the moment of conception and have you knowledge of your own future?..or is it a couple of hours within a lifetime?

    I'm so confused.

I would have to say Donna. She was a strong, smart woman who wasn't afraid to stand up to the Ewings or go after what she wanted. Sue Ellen is a close second for pure entertainment purposes.

Sue Ellen I hated from the beginning, but after episode 1x04 became my favorite. She is my favorite character in Dallas. Unbalanced, bossy, stupid, weak, alcoholic, but a unique charm, which gave the figure of Linda Gray!

Without a doubt it has got to be Sue Ellen. Her character went through hell and back. I loved her and JR together and I hope they get back together again. My favorite episodes were when JR was trying to win back Sue Ellen. "When it came to the bathing suit contest all the rest of the girls were strutting and trying to look sexy. You didn't try, but you sure looked sexy and . . . something else . . . you looked like a lady." She walks in beauty like the night.
