It always makes me laugh just how much the Ewings seem to cram into an average day. They get up at the crack of dawn and come home late and still have time for a drink and a confrontation at Southfork. Anyone who's been to the real ranch knows it's a good 45 minute drive from Dallas and yet they will work a full day at the office, somehow get back in time for cocktails before dinner at 7pm and then head back into Dallas for the evening! Lucy even goes horse riding before school! Just how many hours are there in a Dallas day?!
