Icon7 who is the worlds most loved actor/actress?

perhaps not the best; the most famous or best looking, the most loved means something different. He/she makes you want to watch a movie for them, even though the movie is awful, they put a smile on your face when you hear them speek, see them on the screen; they breath life into something otherwise dead. the reason i thought of this is because, i think and i may be wrong the most loved actor/actress in the world is Morgan Freeman, I know he is one of the best as well. He is so loved that his voice is used to sell insurance; he is so loved that any film he is in is watched because he is in it no matter how bad it is; no one ever has a bad word to say about him and i must admit he is the only celebrity i would ever ask for an autograph because it would be a real pleasure to meet him. perhaps this is a bit over the top but what do other people think and are there other actors/actresses held in the same regard. Of course, I would loved to have met James Stewart as well, perhaps Morgan Freeman is this generations Jimmy stewart?

For me it's Linda Gray, Larry Hagman, Dustin Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins, Julia Roberts, John Nettles, Jodie Foster, Judi Dench, Jack Black, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and the wonderful new love of mine, Ben Stiller.

I know at least BarbaraFan would disagree, but Julie Andrews is the actress I could watch in any role. As for actors, I wouldn't say he's the most loved, but I've seen nearly every Brad Pitt movie.

    Julia Roberts

    Tom Hanks

Funningly enough, these two did a movie together a year or so ago and it did not do well. But they have both had such amazing careers, and I don't read bad press about either person.

Definitely a good choice with Tom Hanks, very versatile and down to earth since he cleaned up his act in the early 80s. One of my favorite movies as a kid was Big, and I still adore Bosom Buddies.

My avatar is an autograph of Coronation Street's Philip Lowrie (Dennis Tanner, an original character) which he personalised for me.
