The Desperate Housewives of Fairview are about to meet one of the original housewives of Long Island.

Everybody Loves Raymond mom Doris Roberts is set to appear in one of the ABC series' final episodes, a show rep confirms.

Exclusive: Shawn Pyfrom returning to Desperate Housewives

Eva Longoria first tweeted about Robert's upcoming guest spot Wednesday, when she posted a picture of her and on-screen husband Ricardo Antonio Chavira with Roberts on set. It is unknown who Roberts will play.

A five-time Emmy winner, Roberts has more recently guest-starred on Hot in Cleveland, The Middle and Grey's Anatomy. She will next star in the ABC comedy pilot Counter Culture, about three aging sisters who run a diner together in West Texas.

Desperate Housewives airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC.

Who do you think Roberts will play?

My first guess is that it might have to do with Gaby's new job.

I just spotted her in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK the other day. She's guest-starred on tons of TV shows including a couple of my favorites.
