I found Rick smarmy and loathsome, acting like he could have Lynette any time he wanted her. He knew that she was married, her husband was his employer and he still continued to cross boundaries. And to make matters worse he started a restaurant close in location to theirs and similar in style to theirs, trying to destroy the family again.

Did you watch them? I thought Tom speaking German was hilarious. I do that sometimes.....watch my favorite shows on YouTube in different languages. It's like watching a Bruce Lee movie.

To be honest, I often forget that Hagman was on DH. We barely saw him. I think guest stars are often underused on the show with the exception of Dixie Carter who had a great role as Orson's mom. I was bummed when she died in real life. You might have to be a DESIGNING WOMEN fan to understand. A really wonderful actress.

Anyway, here's an old Q&A with Doug Savant and He-Who-Cannot-Be-Named:

I love that Doug didn't like 'Rick'. He's very territorial when it comes to his TV wife. And @ Doug's wanting to have a cougar relationship with Vanessa Redgrave. I wish He-Who-Cannot-Be-Named had brought Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper onto the show. I ADORE them.

As much as I disliked Rick, I thought he was a good addition to her storyline. As were Nora and Kayla, to my surprise.

I don't think he realized it was one of those guys. He just assumed it was someone else as we didn't see his face as he was helping Lynette undress. And wasn't that bridesmaid outfit ugly?

DH trivia. He-Who-Cannot-Be-Named must have still thought he was working on THE GOLDEN GIRLS when he came up with the name Lynette Lindquist. It sounds as if it came straight from the St. Olaf phone book.

I think I am going to start calling Bob and Lee 'Bee' since I cannot tell those two apart, and so many other couples have names.

This is like one of my FAVORITE DVD extras!
I always find it so funny when a cast can not remember things
and i love that no one can name the scavo kids!
I would so win on that part!

Scarlett The way i remember is that Lee is sort of the Housewive, he was also the one Tom saw with Lynette.
Bob is the househusband and the lawyer.

I got Melrose Place for my birthday..... So far i have watched 9 episodes.
Just saw Marcia for the first time
But i have to say i LOVE Doug on here.

I have often felt that about scenes on DH, Mad Men, Glee, Friends...pretty much any show I watch at one point or another.

Isn't MP great? Though the first season seems so 'dull' compared to everything else, at least for me. The show is known for being so over the top and soapy.
