Did you watch the show originally as it aired? Because as I remember it here in the UK Marcia Cross was kind of a big deal. The first season feautured her a lot and I remember reading about Bree in every write up or review of the show. Amoung friends she was the general favourite. Athough different characters can become popular in different places. The show may have been touted as Terri Hatchers big comeback and I do love her. But her charater beame one of the the less intersting ones. Same with Gabbi. Edie was popluar because she was a funny bitchy slut and Bree because of her anal behaviour and stepford wife persona.
In my opinion the show started to suck with Edie gone. It was already on the downward slope and Edie being axed ment more of the not so funny gays. And Vanessa Williams who should never have become a regular. But seriously it has just become so dumb.

It's still unacceptable for your boss to hit you though. Whether it was a light tap or harder--and despite the fact that I think Sheridan's probably just in this for the money--an employer has no right to touch you without your permission. Cherry has admitted to only giving her a light tap. It's still wrong. Sheridan's nasty, but if this lawsuit makes Cherry realize that he can't get away with this sort of thing in the future, it'll have been worth it.

NS must have done a 'casting couch' thing in her career (IMHO) because she is a horrific actress. Granted, she was great as Edie because Edie was spoiled, selfish, and a trouble making tramp-----but that is just how NS is in real-life, so there was no acting there.

Though hitting someone is not acceptable......I am sure that a good portion of Hollywood smiled when (if?!) MC did what he did.

My advice to NS is to got step in a puddle somewhere......

I can't remember the exact quote. But he is talking about a friend of his who was a big fan of DYNASTY and he went away to work on a crusie ship for like 2 years and then came back and didn't recognise the show because the cast and show had changed so much.
Which is exactly what happened on his show. He even moved the forward 5 years in the future.

In the States, the press would not stop harping about Terri Hatcher. Marcia was my favorite housewife as Bree, but I never saw Marcia get as many sol cover stories in magazines or news media show. Sadly, Terri got most of the press her, IMO, which I thought was unnecessary and unfortunate. What should have been seen as an ensemble piece became 'The Terri Hatcher Show' and some other people in the background.

I remember there being press about whether NS had any work done (when the show first came out).

Regarding the case....

If she got fired unjustly, she deserves monetary compensation (fair is fair and Cherry shouldn't be acting any way he wants just because he's the boss). BF I can see your point, but if NS thinks she can win...I say go for it.

I don't by any means think John Forsythe is a creep. He is one of my favourite actors. I love his movies and his work on DYNASTY, I just think he was threatened by Joan Collins and her clought on the show.

As for thinking Joan is a nice person, well I don't think shes the bitch shes made out to be. By herself or others. I have yet to read or hear of her bad behaviour on the set of DYNASTY. If she was such a bitch it would be documented. Any nobody has ever said she was nasty on set or unprofessional. She showed up fo 8 years and did her work? I don't get it? Yes she has been catty about people she worked with after DYNASTY. Who isn't?
But I have yet to hear of any of the DYNASTY cast saying she was mean or bitchy to work with. Ali McCraw couldn't have been nicer about her. Its the same thing that happens with Dallas and all the people trying to make out that VP was a total bitch on set. Well the reports aren't there to prove it.
I would love for someone to give me a valid reason as to why Nicollette is piece of shit other than they dont like how she looks or she just is? Its bizzare.
