GH Writers... Hit A New Low! (SPOILER/RUMOR) - The Quartermaine's New Storyline...

If any of you watch GH - and have seen scenes from the 80's - you'll know that Monica Quartermaine isn't Jason's biological mother.

Apparently, writers are making it out that Susan Moore gave birth to twin boys - Jason and Franco! I hate it when new writers re-write history of the show.

It's supposed to be the reason Franco has such an obsession with Jason. It also explains why the paternity results show Jason is the father of Sam's baby, but writers will soon write it out and say Franco is the real father and the baby is the product of her rape.

Again, this is only spoiler/rumor but it does seem to be playing out like that...

That's stupid. And correct me if I'm wrong, but if Jason and Franco aren't "identical" then it is possible to tell the difference between DNA for paternity. J.R.'s Piece would know the answer to this...

GH has gotten even more far-fetched since I stopped watching.

I doubt that will come true, at least the part with Franco being the father of Sam's baby. The new writers seem to be pulling out all the stops to get viewers back and make the show GH again. Why not give them a chance before complaining? Guza absolutely destroyed the show the past 10 years and Garin Wolf was even worse. Just like I gave Wolf a chance I'll give these new writers a month and see if there are any changes. SO far I do see the show moving in a positive direction (they re-wrote much of WOlf's final stuff).

Given the eye-popping (and head-shaking) resolution of the "Two Todds" story over on OLTL, you'd think Ron Carlivati would not touch a "secret twin" story ever, ever again. Actually, a law should have been passed to forbid him from touching that plot device ever again.

And I don't think I have to point out that if F&J are fraternal twins, there would be no question of which one fathered the baby.

Maybe they are identical twins, but Franco had plastic surgery. At least that makes sense. Doesn't it?

Carlivati would have to realize he would be roasted by fans and critics if he tried to give F&J the "Two Todds" treatment. On a OLTL board I read, we took to calling Ron Carlivati "ReRon" but he at least had the smarts to repeat the plots that actually worked, as opposed to the ones that just made people groan.

Which is why I'm thinking this is an ugly rumor that people were quick to believe and repeat simply because it sounds like something ReRon would try. If Susan Moore shows up trying to set off bombs and starts spouting off about having joined a rogue CIA organization during her days as a single parent, then we should worry. Or at least get ready to say hello to Katie Couric.

A lot of what has been being shown...until like today or yesterday- was Garin Wolf's stories. GH is only just starting to show Ron Carlivati's work.

I am really thrilled that the new team at GH is making an effort to bring back and correct many of the wrongs inflicted on the show the last 10 years or so. At least, Guza, Phelps, Frons, and now Wolf are gone. I'm going to reserve judgement until i see how he handles the returns of my favorites- Emma Samms and Tristan Rogers. So far, Finola Hughes' Anna is in character- so far....so good.

How did Tracy end up married to the old guy ?? What happened to her marriage to Luke ??

I see they still use that teeny back room in the mansion, do they EVER show the living room, stairs and foyer anymore ??

She divorced Luke after he refused to stop drinking after Jake's accident.
