Yes but only because she made headlines when she described Manchester as the grimmest place she'd ever been to.

Agree about the wives, I think I find Barb the most interesting although they are all interesting. I like how you can tell in the early seasons that she is actually not happy with the situation at all but now in S3 it feels as if she is getting obsessed with "The Principle" as well and she seems to be really into it now.
The whole idea of polygamy is highly interesting. I find myself thinking that I don't find it all that bad. LOL! I like the way Bill lives with his three wives. I would not like to live in Juniper Creek - yikes. I feel pretty lonely at times so I start thinking that having sister wives around would not be that bad after all. I must be crazy. But I do think that the lifestyle Bill and his wives are living seems okay, I see nothing wrong with it. Well, except for the children of course. Sorry, kind of forgot about that. It must suck for the children, so forget about what I just said.

Well anyway, by watching the pilot episode you can tell the show has huge potential. There are endless stories to tell.
Yeah , Barb just gets more and more fascinating, her story really takes off in s4 and 5 .

I felt the same way about Polygamy that it seems like a good idea but then whenever they visit The Compound i change my mind pretty quickly!

Anybody seen or heard anything about Sevingy's new series set in Manchester in which she plays a transgender assassin? It's called HIT AND MISS, I think.
Season 4 is great, it's a challenging one for the characters. Actors can just shuddup, they're often too close to it to judge whether it's dramatically brilliant for an audience, which s4 is.

ROTF Laura taking it again and again... Ha ha!

Madonna looking hot.... those were the days.

Oh God the Emmerdale part was hilarious.

Loved the ending with Ginger and Jenna, totally bonkers....

The Nun singing Climb Every Mountain to Dolly Rawlins seemed hilarious but the more I watch it the more I think it's quite a dramatically interesting moment considering whats going on and then it suddenly doesn't seem funny which is funny in itself....I definitely think DARK FALCON is a better/weirder/more interesting experience the 2nd or 3rd viewing!

What about THE UNIT? It's "KNOTS LANDING with rocket launchers", apparently.

I am so deliriously happy that KNOTS LANDING is being discussed on The Guardian Media's review of THE UNIT. Life is perfect.

Can I have some chocolate instead.

The last episode left me speechles once again. This is no spoiler. I am talking about their strong faith. I don't get it. How come such intelligent and educated people can believe in all this crap?
I think the next time somebody asks me what I believe in, I will say: "I believe in the purple bunny who lives on Mars, he's married to the pink duck who lives on Venus and they created our entire galaxy".
    I mean really...???

Well Christine exactly! But then millions if not billions of people all over the world believe in Jesus, Allah, God & Justin Beiber. This is a planet full of mentally ill people.

And we are having wars over it. I just want to scream at all these people. I believe when we die we are dead. Period. There might be someting like rebirth, this is the only think I can halfway imagine. Maybe I'll get to be the offspring of the purple bunny and the pink duck in my next life, yeaaah!

I would get to have great hair, yippee!

Something terrible has happened. The S3 finale of Big Love was on yesterday (we didn't know it was the finale, only 10 episodes this time???) and then we found out that this was it for now. We've been watching on Sky, a re-run so we thought. However, S5 is currently airing on the German TNT channel for the first time . So...I will not be able to watch seasons 4+5 at the moment, and who knows how long I will have to wait.
I don't get it though..they could at least show season 4 as it has already aired on TNT.

I know. But....I am watching the show with my husband. My husband doesn't speak English very well. So I have done the unthinkable , I've been watching the dubbed version. I know. I don't like it either.
And so far only season 1 is available in Germany.
I have already looked around and yes, all seasons are available in the US and in the UK as well.

But I have good news too: TNT is going to re-run the 4th season by the end of this month but only on a weekly basis. Well, I will get to see season 4 after all so I guess I should not be complaining.

Stargate Universe is my baby alone....I could not bear to listen to a German speaking Robert Carlyle.
