Season 8 on DVD

So with season 7 region 2 (uk) soon to be released, when do you think it will be until season 8? I hope it doesn't take a whole year again. It would be nice to see 2 seasons a year again as there isn't much left. I think a May or June season 8 release followed by a January 2013 season 9 release would be great.

Paramount Uk and Europe may wait a year or may finish releases by this time next year with Season 8 and 9 in one year - time will tell

I'm pretty sure it won't. They really didn't have any idea what to do with S7, but to some degree it was fun to have Krystle without helmet on the cover. As if, they knew something.

In S8, I really do not know what pictures they will use. We had Sean's story arc and the governor race. Oh, and Adam and Dana's cliche marriage.
There was the UFo thing too. [hint! hint!]

Maybe we should flood Them with e-mails with your vision of the cover in the attachment while thanking them for the release and kindly pinpointing lack of imagination regarding covers? Is it possible?

The distributors of DVDs never listen to fans at all. Or watch the shows... Like the use of the miniseries version of Southfork being plastered across the DALLAS DVDs several seasons in.

Off topic here but I've seen this cast photo many times and always wondered who the man at the top of the stairs was? Standing on the top step behind Sean Rowan. Can anyone enlighten me please? Seasons 7 & 8 are the seasons that I've seen the least of but I'm pretty sure I'd remember him from the opening titles if he were in them.

It's Gerard the butler. Who also was a waiter at the Saint Dennis club in season 3.

Thanks Alexis. I didn't think he even had any storylines aside from once confessing his love for Jeanette? They must have been going for a similar approach to what Falcon Crest did with Chao Li by making him more prominent but then dropped the idea.

It is strange that he is in the cast photo. He doesn't really have that much to do in season 8 or any season really. Jeanette does more really.

Yeah, i'm waiting for 8 season too.. I have all the DVDs from UK. As i remember picture quality in Season 8 was very good in television. Better than the previous old masters copies. So i expect that Paramount UK will do in pretty quick time copy from tape to DVD. The question is whether from a marketing point of view is in their interest to release a new box on the market before the end of the year?

May be as soon as possible!
