HELP - when did season 1 of original Melrose Place air, 1991 or 1992??

Hello - I was a big fan of Melrose Place "back in the day" ... but I KNOW I remember watching it in 1991!

But when I look it up on IMDB or Wikipedia, it says it aired in 1992. But I didn't even have cable that year... I KNOW it was the prior year that I watched it faithfully!

I was in California in 1991 and Iowa in 1992... if that makes any difference??

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

To the best of my knowledge, it was '92.

Jake first appeared at the end of the second season of BH90210. He didn't debut until April '92. Then Melrose began a couple of months later, in the summer.

Could it be Season Two of 90210 you're thinking of? Jake technically appeared in the '91-'92 tv season - but it was right at the end.

I guess the Pilot was shot some time before it first aired, but I don't know whether it would have been as early as '91.

It's so easy to lose track of these dates.

Can you believe next year will be two whole decades since Melrose began?! I feel so old - I can clearly remember watching the first season.
