Daphne Crane I read your PM the other day and sorry for the late reply. Ship Simulator and Titanic Adventure Out OF Time are the best two for Titanic walk around models as was a Titanic CD rom package when the James Cameron film came out but I cannot think of any others at present.

Here is another screengrab of my model featuring the stern section. Can you spot Leonardo Di Caprio ?

My avatar is an autograph of Coronation Street's Philip Lowrie (Dennis Tanner, an original character) which he personalised for me.

Reminds me I must carry on with my Google SketchUp simulation of the Titanic sailing through the Atlantic Ocean.

thanks everyone. I have to admit- it was held together by tape, not by glue but he is so proud (so am I) of his taking the time to put it together. He doesn't have the best fine motor skills, so this was a huge accomplishment for him. We've applied to the Big Brother organization, and when we find one, maybe they can work on the gluing.

Seems after April 15th 2012 the anniversary commemorations did die out but they were good when they lasted for a month with films on the show and documentaires and I think a memorial service was held where the ship blubbed to the bottom of the Atlantic.

They did reckon for a while that they youngest Titanic survivor was born after the event in January 1913 and was conceived on the Titanic. Ellen Walker nee Phillips was her name.

Some female survivors were pregnant at the time of the disaster so I wonder if their unborn babies counts as survivors?

I would say yes, Emmerdalefan, they'd be counted as survivors.

I'm sure you've heard this but the Belfast museum has been named most hospitable attraction for the past year! I thought that was cool

I'm very big on Titanic- both the actual disaster and the movie. In fact, I'm read all the first-hand accounts of it. I recently saw the exhibit in Vegas- it's just wonderful. There is an actual piece of the hull there you can be in the same room with- just electrifying.

At any rate, there are dozens of programs on youtube of Titanic, but this was done in 2012 and with James Cameron so you might enjoy watching it. It's not the end-all-to-be-all it claims, but it's an interesting video.

Some others you might enjoy if you have not seen them

I don't believe the Titanic ever really existed. It was a conspiracy plot thought up by the government. The Titanic sinks and less than one decade later the entire world is embroiled in the Great War. Coincidence? I think not...

Most of the passengers still went blub, blub, blub as McGarrett has said.

Somewhat Titanic related. Robert Ballard is a living legend as far as I'm concerned. I would love to get an autograph for my son but I've read he doesn't really have anything to do with his fans. That's his perogative, I suppose, but his work speaks for itself.

Max has just gotten a titanic necktie for the 101st anniversary coming up. It is so sharp, I will post a photo later. He just gave a powerpoint presentation on the Titanic and made the teachers cry, they were so proud of him. He took questions and answered them beautifully.

I'm in a titanic group on fb and they provided a link to the Belfast Museum. It was a video tour and I have to say it was beautiful to say the least. Belfast did good!!
