Oops, I somehow never saw your post about episode 2 of S2, Ome. I am glad you are still watching.

I'm enjoying the scenes with Starbuck and Helo, I like these two they work well together, hope they are on Caprica for some time as I'd like to see if or how Starbuck deals with Boomer, assuming they find her eventually.

I met Tamoh Penikett at Fedcon 2010 and he talked about Starbuck & Helo in one of his Q&A's. He said it was his choice to play Helo as if he had been good friends with Starbuck for years. It is never mentioned that they've known each other for a long time but it feels as if. That's all just acting, it's not in the script. I love it.

Watched Fragged and it was like watching the Beatles tripping after a gig.

I was pleased to see the Roslin get her medication, Tigh is doing my head in and so it was good to see Roslin back in form. I still haven't really warmed to Baltar and I doubt I will now. However I'm loving the rest of the characters so he can stay in the background for me.

I loved the action on Kabol and the tension when Crashdown was pointing the gun at Cally. Baltar shooting Crashdown was unexpected, even though Six had warned him someone will turn on the fleet.

It was great to see Richard Hatch return, I loved him in the original series.

Nothing from Caprica this time.

I wish Adamo would be up and about.

I started watching it some time back. I think I'm 5 episodes in the first season. Then we went on holiday and other shows started or I started watching some new shows and I never got back into it.

I have loved every episode so far, I just need to get back on track with it.

Great episode, I'm starting to find my feet again with this after such a long gap between season 1 & 2.

Tigh is really annoying, only his wife beats him on that. Yet at the same time I kinda feel sorry for him. I can't wait for Adama to wake up (which he does at the end of this episode) and take over again. I'm really glad Apollo is back Roslin.

It was sad to see Boomer rejected by Galen because she's a Cylon and I was disappointed by Boomer's death, but guess there really wasn't anywhere they could go with her. I'm hoping this isn't the last we see of Grace Park.

Glad to see Starbuck join up with another group of humans on Caprica.

That's really strange that you don't like him as you and I often have the same taste.
I would say it might be a woman thing but then you said your wife does not like him either, hmm...But maybe she's lying to you and she actually has a crush on him.

I don't think this is a spoiler now when I remind you that yes, Boomer is a cylon and of course there are other copys out there. Like the one Helo was with on Caprica.

Yeah I had a feeling Grace Park will still be around, although other than life on Caprica I don't see anywhere else she would fit. Of course I could be totally wrong and who knows what might happen.

I think Wifey is with me on Baltar, however I know it's number six that grates on her too. I'm still going to keep an open mind on him.

Speaking of Caprica, there's a thread from Sunnyboy in the lounge on this show. Obviously I'm going to sat away from any possible spoilers, but I do have one question.

Is Caprica a spin off or a continuation of Battlestar ?

Caprica is set 60 years before "the fall".

The show is a must see but please don't watch it before you are finished with Battlestar Galactica.

Hmm..I think I will never really understand that you don't like the Baltar character. In my Star Trek club everybody loved him and I think he's probably the most favorite character of the majority of the BSG fans.

Watched three more episodes this week and I'm really into this season. It's moving at quite a pace.

I'm really pleased Adama is back in the front line again and that he's working with Apollo and Roslin.

I was really taken by the twist when Starbuck was shot and then treated in the hospital. I thought it was genuine at first and when it showed Helo back at the scene where she was shot unsure of what had happened, it was then I realised the Cylons had heard

Thanks to Boomer they got away from the Cylons and she is back with the rest of the fleet.

I know Boomer is still around and could be for the rest of the series, what I don't know is how this will happen, how can they trust her when they know she is Cylon. I want them to trust her as I think she is a great character, it wouldn't be the same if she was to go. If I remember correctly the Cylons want Boomer to be in love with Helo, that's why they programmed her that way. Now I wonder, can they still control her...Is she really in control of her own choices....?

Baltar... Now there were some signs in the last two episodes (Home Pt 1 & 2) I loved how he tried to dismiss number Six and even went in for the brain scan, even though she was still messing with his head, I liked how she started to tease him while the scan was happening. Is there a new hope for me and Baltar I wonder...?

It was great when Baltar and Six were watching Boomer in the brig, especially when the penny finally dropped and it was Boomer who would be having Baltar's baby....


Next up Final Cut

When I started Final Cut I was a little apprehensive as I don't find stories of some journalist following around all the characters. This one was different though, I loved how up close and personal it all became and although it appeared like she was going to expose them all for appearing useless and uncaring I had a feeling she would paint them in a good light at the end. Which she did and everything was all nicey nicey....

Until it revealed the reporter was a Cylon. I was like WTF!! I didn't see that one coming. What an awesome twist that was, the Cylons have been allowed to get into every nook and cranny without anyone suspecting a thing.

I've watched quite a few more episodes, I'm in the middle of Scar but had to break off for whatever reason.

I am really loving this show now even Baltar is becoming more and more interesting and we're not having number Six rammed down our throats all the time.

The 3 part Pegasus story blew me away, I love Michelle Forbes she always plays characters I hate! The tension when both Kane & Adama were plotting to kill each other was like something out of '24' I wanted Starbuck to kill Kane, but at the same time I didn't want her or Adama to have blood on their hands, so it ended well when the captured number Six killed her.

Although it sent them to the brig and nearly executed them, I cheered when Galen and Helo saved Boomer from those who had been raping and beating up the captured number Six.

I've always wondered if Roslin was to ever die from this cancer or if they were going to find a cure, which finally happened through Boomer giving birth. I'm pleased that she's back fighting fit without this lingering on her any more.

In season 4 there is a two parter about what happened on the Pegasus before they met the Galactica. I actually have not seen this two parter yet.

So am I ! I think his involvement with Roslin is helping the character for me. Suddenly he's starting to feel important to the story.

Initially I was shocked too and a little pleased it happened. Now thinking back I regret it happened, Kane is such an evil character, but when I saw her back down from killing Adama I found a little more depth to the character we hadn't seen. It seemed the obvious conclusion to killing her off at the time, but in return we lost a potentially great villain to just a few episodes.

Only Boomer is named Boomer. It's her call sign. And the other models have not served in the fleet. But they are all named Sharon, yes.
Regarding the memories and feelings, you will have to find out yourself. This would be a spoiler.

The two parter about what happened on the Pegasus was kind of an extra that was aired only because there was such a long break between the two halves of season 4. Back then they had to go on a long break because of the writers strike. During this time it was not even certain they would return for the last few episodes at all. But then they did, thank Gods.
I never saw the two parter because it is sort of a stand alone thing, it is something you don't need to see. After this long break I preferred to continue watching the actual series and not this two parter. I wanted to save it for another time to watch. And then I kind of forgot about it.
