Tales from the Cul-De-Sac
Hi all!
I have been asked a few times lately about my Knots book and if I am still working on it. The answer is Yes! I just today Interviewed Betsy Palmer and last week did a few other cast Interviews, Including Don Murray who had something very Interesting to say about his leaving Knots. I also just received back my Interview from Julie Harris. It is going along well even though I did take time off due to neck surgery.
I am also very much looking forward to your book Roman! I am so happy for you.
A few more Interviews and a lot more writing and with everyone's help Tales from the Cul-De-Sac will indeed be hitting shelves, or at least Amazon!

That is awesome!! As much as its great that mine is a "companion book" to the series, your take on things and your interviews will be a treat indeed to learn of. You are supported in prayers and heart by the fans....
As of mine? Well, the process has been long, the details patiently handled and, tho its been a long wait... very soon, very very soon...

Welcome Back, Seaview Scott! Haven't heard about you in a long time,
glad to see that you're alright and hope your neck is feeling better. I'd
wondered where you'd been, the last time I seen you was at The Hollywood
Show in Burbank when the cast of Knots were there in February of last year.
Can't wait for your book to be released. Sounds great that you interviewed
Don Murray and Julie Harris, makes your book sound even more interesting.
I know I'll definitely be buying a copy the day it comes out and I'll even buy a
few more to give as gifts for a few friends and the same goes for Anakin's book.
You guys went the extra mile to write these books, I'm going to go the extra
mile to support you guys.

Yes, they sound like two quite different projects - complimentary not competing.

Thanks everyone, it feels good to be missed. And I really Appreciate all of your positive comments about the book. In fact I just Interviewed Larry Hagman and Millie Pperkins yesterday and Donna has also agreed to an Interview.
And companion books is (re: Roman's book) the absolute correct term and how I think of it.
Thanks again for giving me the boost!

Oh wow! What I would give to meet Donna Mills! Tales from the Cul-De-Sac will definitely be on my book shelf!

. I am still going after the "big Stars" but is there any actors anyone special would like to hear from? I'm even trying for Halle Berry and Alec B
aldwin.
And again guys' thanks for all the kind words!

as they say...
Pat Peterson and Tonya Crowe would be great to hear from... growing up on the show, they must have some great things to recount. Happy interviewing!!!!!

Alec Baldwin has agreed to participate and I just Interviewed Stacy Galina. I am having avery hard time trying to contact Pat Peterson or Tonya Crowe, anyone know them???

Well the two people that i'd love to see interviews of (besides Donna Mills of course) is Nicollette Sheridan and....(finger crossed) Constance McCashin! Any news on those fronts?
-
-
-
I have talked to Nicollette's "people" and I think she will be Included but I am doubtful (but still going to try) to get something from Constance. Donna has all ready agreed, it's just working out the scheduling.

Tonya Crowe
These two forthcoming KNOTS LANDING books sound brilliant!
You may already know this, but Tonya Crowe is involved with the 30th Anniversary Blu-Ray release of Dark Night Of The Scarecrow, which is being released next month. It's a great, creepy movie if you haven't seen it before.
Found this info on it:
For horror fans who may not be familiar with this title, Dark Night of the Scarecrow is a 1981 made-for-TV movie that appeared on CBS. The film was directed by Frank De Felitta and stars Charles Durning, Tonya Crowe, Jocelyn Brando, and Larry Drake.
“When young Marylee Williams (Tonya Crowe) is found viciously mauled, all hell breaks loose in her small rural town. Officious postmaster Otis P. Hazelrigg (Charles Durning) leads a gang of bigots in pursuit of the suspect: her mentally challenged friend Bubba Ritter (Larry Drake). Finding him hiding inside a scarecrow, they exact brutal mob “justice”…only to discover a tragic mistake! Now a strange apparition stalks the land seeking each of them out, as the legend of the Scarecrow begins.”
Special features:
-Director & Writer Commentary
-Daniel Griffith Documentary
-Q&A with Larry Drake
-Tonya Crowe & J. D. Feigelson
-CBS Network World Premiere Promo
-Rebroadcast Promo
-Behind the Scenes Photo Gallery
Here's a little link, featuring a recent photo of Tanya at (I think!) some kind of horror convention:

Michele Lee and Michelle Phillips have now also agreed. I'm still trying to get in touch with many more cast members.

Good luck with Constance, we tried for years using the forum and ... well the feedback was that she wasn't pleased about our ( very polite) requests, Having said that, I think it could have had something to do with the fact that we spoke to Dan Weisman also she may have misunderstood that we were a fan site and not Warner Bros , I like to think it was that anyway.
We have Kim Lankford, Pat Peterson , Joan Van Ark, James Haughton and Pleshette's email I think ? Pamela will know if we kept everything. Mike Filerman is the one to get , he's hilarious and very candid indeed. He gave us a fab phone chat , its all on the interviews site on the main website here, we have his address too I think ...
