It was just another one of Nick's cro-mag moments with Sue Ellen that turned me off. He was pretty harsh with her at times and seemed very controlling. Besides, can you imagine the battle she'd have with him every morning for the hair dryer and mirror?

Now, putting the L man in his place during that scene, it would have been much more smooth and sexy. And as for the earrings, JR would have let HER take them off because he loved to watch and feel her use her hands. Besides, her taking off her earrings was one of her famous moves, working it like no other whenever she'd get a phone call.
