Episode Nine Review...
That's Episode Nine from Season Seven now up on the forum.
As promised a few weeks ago, we are now back into our fortnightly schedule again following a short hiatus which allowed me to get a few more installments "in the can".
I'll get a short thread up on the forum over the next few days advising of how the remainder of the season will shape up as I feel there's been a lack of communication of late from my end and I apologise for this.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the latest episode which is now available for your reading pleasure and please let me know all of your thoughts on the latest chapter
By the way, anyone who read the episode when it first aired today may wish to go back and re-read it again as there was a short video in this week's episode which I forgot to include the first time round and because the edit function wasn't working, the episode had to be re-posted! I think in all there were about 60 odd views by then so there are potentially 60 odd people who haven't read the entire thing as yet.
What an ending! Very dramatic with the black and white screencap of Meg lying unconscious and possibly even dead. This could have serious ramifications for the Mackenzies if Greg hears about how they have been treating his daughter of late. Can't wait for the next episode.
And I loved the clip featuring Savage Garden. Great song choice.
Very intriguing episode in lots of ways. Meg's suicide will almost certainly cause a rift between Greg and the Mackenzies. I just don't know how it will figure in the overall picture. I also like the idea that there could be difficulties and tensions between the Ewings and the Mackenzies over there knowledge about what Abby did at Oceanview. Thats the great thing. With the series due to end soon, anything can happen.
Lookinmg forward to episode 10 already.
Awesome Season Seven - Episode Nine, I loved it. The ending was shocking, I hope Meg is going to be ok. I feel bad for poor Bobby, and I hope Jamie and Betsy reunite. I hope Mack and Karen tell Gary, and Val the truth.
I loved the video too, one of my favourite songs.
And a few weeks later Ome joins in the fun as he catches up with this wonderful series.
I'm glad Jamie is chasing Betsy, I really hope they can get back together.
I thought earlier on in the episode (round about the time Jamie said those hurtful things towards Meg) that Meg could end up in a suicidal state and when she started reading the Internet over issues with suicide I started to panic....
I liked Tiff's advice she gave to Betsy especially the part where she suggested Betsy got back with Jamie even if it was just to spite Meg.
My what a cliff-hanger that episode ended with. Even though I had thought about suicide earlier on the episode, it still came at me with great shock.
I love this..
Not heard that one before. LOL
There are three stages of man. First, he believes in Santa Claus; then he doesn’t believe in Santa Claus; then he IS Santa Claus.
Loved Meg's dream at the beginning.
Another cracking episode Knots Man
I'm on a real high now after reading two back to back episodes of FKL. This is gripping stuff.
The lead up to Meg's suicide bid in this episode was really well done. What I love is that this story has virtually built up in front of our eyes for a couple of seasons now. Ever since the time Meg turned nasty by trying to steal Tag from Betsy, there has been tension with her and Betsy which has gradually sidelined her from the rest of the cul-de-sac who have watched Betsy turn her life around while Meg has seemed bitter. The sad fact is that no one can really see Meg's point of view here. I think it's perfectly understandable that Betsy would get under Meg's skin and when everyone fails to see this, Meg then feels further isolated leading to the inevitable. The overall picture I've had from Meg this season is of a young girl who's only about 15 or 16 yet wanting to be so much older. Just like so many troubled teens, she feels life is over when she suffers from one or two setbacks. This story is a great reflection of society nowadays. I should know. I have experience of this through my job.
Aside from the story, I also enjoyed Meg's dream sequence (oh how I love Savage Garden) and also the black and white screencap at the end. How dramatic.
I'm also loving the fallout over Oceanview. This story is far from over.
Right now, there's a great mix of stories from Karen on her moral crusade with the drop in centre, Greg and Abby getting deeper and deeper into trouble through their business activities and now this. There's also a great mix of characters as well. Is it really true this great series is ending?
