Dorothy MAWLOWNE!!!!!! God, it's soo GOOD to see her again. What the hell is that old bitty talking to her about? Poor Connie. Hilarious though!

This episode reminds me of "Airport" as everyone seems to be at the same store and we get a peak into all their lives. I even felt a little dirty haha. Great job!

Best intro followed up by THE BEST SCENE EVER! I never thought anything could beat the Betty/Sandy dance off but apparently Betty/Sandy dancing PLUS Jay Z and Beyonce blows it away haha. Truly amazing. I watched it like three times. Brilliant!

HAHA Afton I'm so happy you like it , I knew you'd love that Dorothy Malowwwne bit ... that old bitty loooooolllll is one of the UK's most beloved soap characters from CORONATION STREET in the 1960's Yeah, they were all in the same store you really got it , the bot should come back I think in season 2 we need more fembot action !

Are you sure? The 15 min limit is lifted (at least it was for me) once you have over 15 videos uploaded and you have 23 uploaded already.

It was lifted and then it was taken away , it's really random, there's a lot of hoo ha around why Youtube doesn't have a coherent policy on longer uploads , but either way I think DARK FALCON has to find a new home because of the copyright issue ;-S

What program do you use to edit? Really nice job of it. Try taking off the embed feature on your videos, that seems to be an issue sometimes with the copyright.

Thank you Red , much appreciated ! I use Adobe Premiere Pro ... I'm self taught so still fairly imited in what I can do, I must learn After Effects because thats where you can really get creative ..... Thanks for the embed advice, very timely I'm just about to upload season 2 's first episode!

The issue on Youtube isnt the clips its the music. You are using more than 30 seconds of a track so for that reason it will be pulled.

No one is going to say to themselves, I'd really like to hear Beyonce - oh, I'll just watch sunny's Dark Falcon instead! Or, I'm in the mood for some Dr. Who - I'll watch Dark Falcon instead. This is not a substitute for the "actual" music or the "images." Or perhaps you could argue "artistic use"? You've created an entirely new context for the images and music that is completely transformative. Dark Falcon has to live on. Let's get a creative commons license going, let's get a pro-bono intellectual property lawyer working on this. Too bad Harv Smithfield is dead.

But if you used the track and then did a remix you would be ok, or if you put a squeaking Falcon every 30 seconds over it.

I might.... that is similar to how my thought patterns form...although I might be prone to substitute "detachment" for "mood" (unless it is Patrick Troughton) and "sunshineboyuk" for "sunny" and might possibly remove the "really like" and might choose to hear Beyonce because I don't know whether I want to hear Beyonce.....but for the sake of the Dark Falcon brand blend's continued survival, I won't actually admit to any of it.

You're right, fair use is a defense, not a right. Music copyright is insane. But a remix is even more problematic legally, since the basis for your artistic creation is someone else's copyrighted material, and the US courts have ruled in favor of the original copyright holder more and more. Money talks.

Copyright was created not to restrict use or prohibit creativity or even to earn the copyright holder $$$, but to curtail duplication, as in not having people waste their energy re-inventing things that have already been invented, but to build on current inventions to invent something new. That's exactly what Dark Falcon does.
