Default Characters who hardly ever met

Are there characters you wish interacted more together on the show?

For example I loved the Donna/Sue Ellen late night chat. Two characters who were rarely seen together. I thought Linda played that scene really well.

Although not strictly Dallas I would liked to have seen Miss Ellie interact with Valene.

Pamela and Lucy should have interacted more even though they met often. I liked how Pam became like a surrogate mother for Lucy in the early episodes but that relationship just seemed to disappear and they hardly did anything together by season 3.

Very true, there could have been a lot more between Cliff and Miss Ellie.

I would've like Kristen & Katherine meet up I think Kristen was dead by the time Crazy Katherine came on board but they both wanted Bobby, the were the evil sister of both Ewing wives Pam & Sue Ellen, i would've also loved more Dallas & Knots characters meeting up like Lucy & Paige, Abby meeting the whole Ewing clan I know they were different shows but they were until 1986 a part of the same universe

They were basically playing the same type of character which explains why one came on just after the other one left. They were just sister's of a different Ewing wife. One tried to kill JR and one did kill Bobby.

I'd like to have seen ALL the wives - Sue Ellen, Pam, Donna and Valene having a tight bond.

What about Abby? She had an affair with and later married Gary and slept with JR.
..and what about JR's other wife?...and April?...and Jenna...and Ellie?.... and Amanda?

I agree. At several different points some of the Ewing wives had a connection (ex. Pam and Donna, Pam and Sue Ellen), but seeing the four get together - maybe like the housewives on DH, would have been great to see.

So many of the relationships seemed contrived to fit the plot (ex. Pam and Sue Ellen were comrades when convenient and enemies the next. )

I would have liked to have had Lucy interact with anyone from the core Dallas cast!! She rarely did, she was just a never changing woman- child who would always be coming down the staircase or walking to her car to interact with pointless side characters.

I mean she could have went shopping with Pam or Sue Ellen, maybe worked at Ewing oil? Went on vacation with Miss Ellie anything she was a wasted character!

I also would have loved Abby from Knots o Dallas for a while she was great

I know people cringe when the later years were brought up, but Miss Ellie never had a scene with James.

JR and Digger were funny when they were drunk together.

    Definately more Pam and Lucy!
And Jessica and Sue Ellen, I found it hilarious when Jessica arrived and said something like '... either that or marry someone half his age' and you could see Sue Ellen's face when JR side-looked at her
Maybe a little of Clayton and Katherine, since he had been such a good friend to Rebecca

I agree with BarbaraFan, would have liked to see more Cliff and Miss Ellie interaction.

Also, would have enjoyed Ray and Cliff going at it over Donna. The lawyer/politician vs. the cowboy. I don't know if those two ever had a single scene were they ever spoke to each other??

They actually had a lot in common...both insecure, got depressed when defeated, both lost their mums, had drunk deadbeat dads, Cliff had Aunt Maggie and Ray had Aunt Lil, Cliff had cousin Jimmy and Ray had cousin Mickey, both slept with Sue Ellen and with Donna, both disliked JR

I too would like to have seen Kristin and Katherine meet. Sure could have been something.

Bobby is jogging. It’s the day of the Southfork barbecue. He meets Tilly and Jock outside the mansion, (a scene from the mini-series, DVD-1, 1978):

    Bobby: “Morning daddy!”

    Jock: “Morning Bobby!”

Bobby: “Hey let me carry that for ya.”

Jock laughs and says, “Oh I think I’ve got enough left in me to tow the case of my best bourbon whiskey.”

Bobby: “Suit yourself. Well Tilly are you ready to feed half the state of Texas?”

Tilly: “Been catering Ewing parties 12 years Mr. Bobby, ain’t nobody ever gone hungry yet.”

Bobby: “I guess you’re right. Would you please drop the Mr.?”

Tilly: “Sam and I drop the Mr.? Have to charge 10% less.”

Bobby: “Daddy just don’t strain yourself before your big reunion.”

Jock: “Hey reunion, what do ya mean reunion?”

    Bobby: “Didn’t mama tell ya?”

    Jock: “Tell me what?”

    Bobby: “Well Pamela’s daddy’s’ coming.”

    Jock: “Willard Barnes coming here?”

    Bobby laughs and says, “Willard?”

Jock: “Yeah Willard. That was his name before he called himself Digger. Now what the hell is he coming out here for?”

Bobby: “Well he’s Pamela’s daddy. He’s my father-in-law. He should be invited.”

Jock: “Inviting one thing. Accepting is another.”

Bobby: “Ah come on! It’s gonna be the greatest thing ever happened; you and Digger get back together, might even bury the hatchet. See ya later!”

Jock: “My house. My barbecue. Digger Barnes!” He strips his teeth.
