Chapter 11

Josh walked into the house, and ran upstairs, and soon after Billy ran in running upstairs. Miss Martha, and HB stared at each other not knowing what to say? HB walked upstairs, going to Billy, he walked into the room.

"Daddy I don't want to have a lecture"

"Well that is to bad Billy, I want to talk, and your going to listen".

HB sat on the bed, Billy smiled," Daddy I didn't do anything to Reva"

"I hope not your old enough to realize she is 17 years old"

" She is wild Daddy, she is driving Josh crazy".

" I think she is driving you crazy, too Billy".

"Yeah I like her she is beautiful, but she wants Josh"

" What happened today, why did Josh come flying in here like he was stung by a hornet"?.

"He saw us kissing Daddy, that is all"

"Where did you boys leave Reva"?

" By the pond, I yelled at her Daddy, I said she is playing a game".

"Don't be hard on her Billy, she is young, and wild like you say". They both jump, when Sarah, says, " where is Reva "?

"Mame, she is by the river, I'm sure she is there". Sarah walked away and ran down the stairs and outside. She walked to the river, seeing Reva on the rock, crying. Sarah walked over sitting beside Reva.

" Ma Ma, I'm so confused, they both are mad at me"

" Reva Shayne what are you doing"?

" Don't yell at me Ma Ma".

"I should ship you home on a bus, and let Hawk deal with you"

"Ma Ma please don't I want to stay, please"

" These are my employers Reva, what do you think they are thinking right about now"?

" I don't know, I'm sorry, I really like Josh"

" You hurt Josh by going with his brother to a movie. What were you thinking, you can't play these games? You are young, and you will be hurt not them".

"Ma Ma, really Josh wouldn't hurt me "

" Boys want one thing Reva, remember that"

" Josh is different, I know it"

Sarah hugged Reva, " Girl your going to be the death or me".

"Ma Ma can I go see Josh, please"?

" Run along, but don't be surprised, if he won't talk to you".

" I love you Ma Ma", she ran ahead, to the house. Sarah walked back, looking around, realizing her baby has grown up, but prayed, she wasn't going to be hurt.

Reva ran into the house, and Miss Martha smiled, " slow down girl where is the fire"?

" Can I please see Josh, I have to say sorry".

"Sure Sweetie, but keep the door open, and be good".

" I will Mame, thank you", as she ran upstairs. Sarah walked in looking at Miss Martha, who walked over putting her arm around Sarah." Lets go have a tea, this is going to be a long two weeks for us"

Reva ran up knocking on Josh's door, he didn't answer at first. Reva whispered " Josh please open the door, I need to talk to you".

Josh opened the door, just staring at Reva. " What do you want, Reva, Billy didn't excite you enough"?

" I'm sorry, for hurting you Josh, but you hurt me".

" How did I hurt you Reva, what did I do to you"?

"You pushed me away Josh, I was hurt"

"Pushed you away, I tried to respect you"

" Josh please can we start over, and forget today"?

" Forget your kiss with Billy, you seemed to enjoy that".

" Your Brother is fun, but it is you , I want to be with"

" Why would you kiss him Reva, that is cruel"?

Reva moved close kissing Josh, and he pulled away. She started to cry, and Josh pulled her close kissing her passionately. HB walked by , but is speechless, he walked down the hall holding the wall. He yelled out, " Reva I think you should go down, and help your Mom in the kitchen".

" OK Sir, I'm coming".

Reva smiled, " see you later Josh", as she ran out of his room. She saw HB and Smiled," excuse me, I will help Ma Ma". She ran downstairs, he looked back and saw Josh shut his door. HB went downstairs, knowing, these kids were not going to listen to a word, their parents say.

Chapter 12

Reva was in the kitchen helping her Mom, she was keeping Reva really busy. Josh walked in sitting at the kitchen table, watching Reva. Sarah, shook her head, " Josh you don't want to be outside, it is beautiful outside."?

Josh smiled, " it is beautiful inside here too" Sarah looked at Reva she was smiling, she never seen her Daughter so happy. She grabbed the tea towel swatting her on the butt."Go you and Josh run along."

"Ma Ma are you sure, I will help"?

"Go both of you before , I change my mind". Reva ran out the back door yelling," come on Josh lets go".

Josh got up kissing Sarah on the cheek, " Thanks".

"Josh don't hurt her please"

" I won't Mame", as he ran outside to be with Reva

Reva ran down by the river, and Josh yelled " wait up Reva." . He chased her, and she laughed and ran, and he stopped, " Oh man you are fast girl".

HB was standing on the veranda, watching, Miss Martha walked up behind him, putting her hands around him. "Your really worried about them aren't you "?

"He is a good boy, but I have this feeling he is falling in love with Reva. I don't want them to make a mistake that will change their lives forever."

"Josh has a good head on his shoulders, I have faith he will know what is right".

HB smiled hugging Miss Martha" You are amazing, I love you girl".

" I love you too HB". They sat in the rocker, and held hands.

Reva ran to the water running in with her dress, getting soaked. Josh stood back laughing, he never seen anyone so beautiful. He yelled " you are something else Reva, now your all wet".

"Come in Josh don't be a chicken"

" No I don't want to get wet, we should have brought our suits"

Reva laughed, " Oh Josh is chicken", she laughed when Billy came out of no where running in splashing her. He stood up, and she yelled " Josh if your brother can do it so can you".

Josh laughed , "I don't think so Billy". He ran into the lake, lifting Reva into his arms, twirling her round and round. He got dizzy, and they both fell into the water. They were laughing so hard, as he moved over to her, bringing his lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck. They smile as they both look into each other's eye's they just stare, both were in a trance just staring.

Billy looked over and laughed, " OMG what is with these two"? He yells guys, "your not alone".

Josh started to move, they dance without any music. Billy was stunned, he kept staring he finally realized, Josh was in love , he never acted this way before.

Josh and Reva walked out of the river, and sat on the sand, touching each others face. They both brought their lips together, Billy smiled " OMG, I'm out of here". He ran up to the house, feeling like a third wheel.

Josh laid Reva down, as he put his hand on her chin. He smiled " girl you are really doing something to my heart"

Reva giggled, " You do something to my stomach". She pulled him down, and they kiss, he put his hand up to her lips. We can't do anything right now, remember tomorrow night at midnight, in the tree house".

"I will be there Josh, will you"?

"You will have to wait and see", he smiled, as she sat up putting her head on his chest. He sat holding her , as they both smiled, knowing they both would show up for sure.

Chapter 13

Josh and Reva couldn't keep their eyes, off each other all night. All they could think about was tomorrow, and it couldn't come soon enough. Everyone sat up talking, but Josh and Reva sat beside each other holding hands. Reva finally got up, " I'm going to bed, goodnight everyone".

HB and Miss Martha smiled, " Goodnight sweetie, see you tomorrow".

" Goodnight Billy , Ma Ma", and she turned smiling, " see you tomorrow Josh".

"Sweet dreams Reva" Josh smiled, and winked at her.

Billy laughed, " Josh your the one with sweet dreams,"

HB glares at Billy, who smirked, but put his head down.

Reva ran upstairs, Josh was dying inside he wanted to run upstairs with her. He sat for awhile, and finally he got up, "I'm tired too, goodnight everyone". Josh ran upstairs and knocked on Reva's door, she opened it wearing a pink nightie , and Josh couldn't stop staring. Reva smiled, " cat catch your tongue Josh"?

" I just wanted to say goodnight, and I can't wait until tomorrow".

"If you want we can make it tonight at midnight Josh"

"Tomorrow Reva, goodnight", he leaned over kissing her. She pulled him into her room , and shut the door. He whispered, "Reva if someone comes up now we are dead."

She pushed him to the bed, and he fell backward. She crawled beside him, "Josh shut up, and just kiss me".

They were kissing when Reva started to touch Josh, and he was going wild. Her door flew open and Reva jumped up, fixing her nightgown. Billy walked in shutting the door. "You two are so obvious, what is up with you both."?

"We were kissing Billy, and you are rude knock next time".

"If you want to do it, don't do it with Ma Ma and Daddy downstairs Josh"

Reva smacked Billy on the shoulder, " stop spying on us, Billy get a life".

" You are playing a game little girl, be careful".

"I'm not playing anything, I love your brother"

"Love you got to be kidding, you just met him"

"So he is the one , I know it"

Billy glared at Josh, " You will be sorry Josh, Daddy will never forgive you if you hurt Sarah's daughter".

" Billy you want me to step aside, so you can have her"

" Josh you got me, I want her so badly, I could kill you"

"Both of you leave before our parents come up".

Billy walked out , " come on Josh, both of us".

Josh got up touching Reva's face, " thanks for the kiss"

"Your welcome, tomorrow Josh".

Smiling, " I won't sleep tonight thinking about tomorrow."

"Me too, but go before your Daddy comes up"

Billy grabs Josh, "Come on now".

Josh pushed Billy, " stop getting in my way".

Billy pushed Josh up against the wall, "you play with fire Josh you will get burned."

"What are you talking about Billy"?

"That girl is trouble, trust me, don't do what your planning"

"I'm not planning anything Billy, go to bed"

Billy walked to his room, Josh walked to his shutting the door. He stood against the door, and smiled, " your wrong Billy she is the one".

Reva sat on the bed, she smiled, " Josh goodnight, tomorrow, " She laid back and shut her eyes, and drifted off asleep.

Josh sat on the bed, he couldn't sleep, he knew he would dream again. He stayed awake most of the night, and finally drifted off asleep.

Chapter14

Reva woke up, and smiled, but her stomach was doing somersaults, and she jumped out of bed. She ran in the shower, and got dressed, and ran downstairs. She was disappointed seeing Billy, HB, and Miss Martha only. She walked over, " Josh isn't up yet"?

Billy smiled, " No he probably , is dreaming away".

Reva smiled, " Billy you really are annoying"

"Yeah everyone tells me that , but I'm lovable"

Miss Martha smiles, " Yeah sometimes Billy, Reva you can go wake him up if you like"

" Sure", Reva ran upstairs, so fast, HB smiled, " OMG that girl should be in the Olympics".

Miss Martha laughed, " Yeah she did move pretty fast didn't she"?

Billy mumbled, " Yeah smart move sending her up there, "

" What did you say Billy"? Miss Martha said

"Nothing Ma, Ma, just talking out loud".

Reva knocked on Josh's door, but he didn't answer . She walked in his room, seeing the bed empty, but heard the shower going. She smiled, walking into the bathroom , she pulled the curtain. Josh covered his privates, but not before Reva had a look. She smiled " OMG Josh I'm so sorry".

"Right you opened the shower curtain Reva, get out. My Father might come up, and than it will be all over. You would be on the next bus home ".

Reva didn't move she stood staring at Josh, with her mouth open. Josh jumped out of the shower grabbing a towel. She giggled, " nice butt Josh".

" Is it I can't see from here", Josh smiled . Billy walked in ," OMG I'm telling Dad, this is to much"

Reva ran over , "don't Billy please, It is my fault. "

"Josh looks really devastated, your in here"

" Please don't tell, my Mom will send me home".

" Fine, I won't tell, both of you get downstairs, in 2 minutes. I want to eat, and I'm not waiting while, you stare at Josh's ugly body". Billy stormed out, and slammed the door.

Josh smiled, " you are going to get us in trouble girl".

"Your body isn't ugly, it is amazing Josh".

" Ok Reva go while I get dressed, your making me blush".

She smiled, leaving the room, and ran downstairs. She waited for Josh to come down and sat beside him. They waited while Sarah served breakfast. Josh put his hand on Reva's leg, and she jumped and HB smiled " what is wrong with you"?

" I have a cramp in my leg, it is better now".

Billy cracked up laughing, Josh glares at him. Reva smiled, and they continued eating.

HB asked Billy , Reva and Josh," what they had planned for the day"?

Josh smiled, " me and Reva are going to just have a fun day right Reva"

"Yeah fun probably swimming and stuff"

Billy mumbles, " and stuff, what a joke"

HB smacked Billy on the arm, " what is wrong with you boy"?

" Nothing everything doesn't revolve around golden boy".

Miss Martha is shocked, " Billy what is wrong with you"?

" Nothing Ma Ma, I'm not hungry, I'm going for a walk"

"No your not, sit until everyone else is finished". HB yells

Billy dropped his fork, and sat with his head down. Josh was shocked so was Reva but they keep eating. Billy glared, and Josh tried to ignore him. Everyone finished, and HB said, " you can go now Billy".

Billy jumped up running out of the house.

Miss Martha, touched Josh's arm, "did you two have a fight"?

"Not really, we just joke around normally".

" Can you go see him Josh".?

Sure he stood up, and Reva went to go too. Miss Martha, smiled, " You wait here dear, let them talk alone."

Reva sat down, and Josh walked out to find Billy. He walked, and found him sitting by a tree. Josh walked over, " Billy what happened in there".?

" You get everything you want don't you"?

" No, I don't understand , why your so angry"?

" forget it, I'm just tired".

" Is it Reva Billy, I really like her,"?

" I do to little brother, sorry to break it to you".

" She likes me Billy, you will have to find someone else"

" I know Josh , your the special one, so of course she would want you".

"Billy you have never acted this way before, stop it".

Billy jumped up, " Shut up Josh, I'm so tired, of you, it isn't funny"

"Billy I'm sorry your upset, can't we just talk civil"?

"Go play with Reva, I don't want to talk anymore." Josh walked away , looking at Billy and went back to the house .

Chapter 15

Josh came back and told his Mom, that Billy was ok, he just needed to be alone. Reva and Josh decided to go for a walk.

"Josh what is wrong with Billy really"?

" He has fallen for you Reva."

"It is my fault , I"m so stupid.'

"He will be ok, don't worry about him"

" Are you excited about tonight Josh"?

" What is happening tonight"?

"Stop it , don't act like it is nothing"

"What Reva"?

"This is my first time, I want it to be special"

"Your a virgin Reva"?

" Yeah, I guess your not"?

" No but maybe , we should think about this"

" I want my first time to be with you Josh"

" In a tree house Reva, not the most romantic place"?

" It will be with you Josh, don't back down now ".

" I know Josh, stop making me nervous".

"Reva go back to the cottage, and rest, I have stuff to do".

"Trust me, go rest or whatever, I will be back soon". Josh ran off,and Reva stood watching him leave. " Josh Lewis that is not nice". She smiled, " unless your going to get something for me". She walked back to the cottage, and went to her room. She laid on the bed, and daydreamed about her night with Josh.

Josh ran into town, and he knew he only had $200.00 to last him for a few weeks. He went into a shop and the lady smiled, " Can I help you"?

" Yes, I want a pretty dress, and a necklace but I don't have lots of money". She smiled, and took him to the sale rake, and showed him a few dresses. He saw one, that stood out and smiled," how much is this one"?

" That was $120.00 but it is on sale for $60.00 right now."

" I will take it , but do you have any nice jewelery, but not really expensive. "?

"Sure over here", he saw a sweet sterling silver heart necklace. He smiled , " $20.00, on sale wow this is nice. I will take this too", and he saw a cute teddy bear, and he picked it up. "What the heck, this too thanks". The lady packed it up and Josh paid, and walked out of the store. He walked to a liquor, store, and bought a bottle of champagne, and smiled, " Daddy will kill me. " He paid and walked out of the store. with $85.00 and he saw a shop with the prettiest nightgown , he ever saw. He smiled, and ran into the store. The lady smiled, " what are you looking at nightgowns for "?

" Oh my girlfriend"

" Oh, this is $100.00 it is on sale".

" Oh, I'm too short, I guess, I will come back another day". Josh started to walk out, and the lady asked, " how much do you have"?

"$85.00 Mame"

She smiled, " your adorable, sold for $85.00 dollars" She packed it up and Josh paid and left. He almost ran all the way home. He went up in the tree house, leaving the nightgown and necklace, and champagne. He left the tree house, and walked back with the dress. He was happy , no one was around, he ran upstairs, knocking on Reva's door. She woke up rubbing her eyes, and ran to the door. She smiled, seeing Josh, and he walked in the room. Reva shut the door, and Josh handed her the garment bag. She hugged Josh," for me really"?

"Yeah open it, I want you to wear this, when we meet at midnight. I hope it fits, I guessed your size"

Reva pulled it out, and screamed, Josh laughed," shh, they will come running"

" This will fit, you got my perfect size, my favorite color".

" You love Red Reva"?

" Yes, I love it , this is the most beautiful dress, I ever seen".

" I thought so to, but I'm sure there is better ones"

"I doubt it Josh, I can't wait until tonight"

" Me too Reva, it will be a long day", Josh smiled.

Reva hung the dress up, and sat on the bed. Josh sat beside her, and they kissed. Josh stood up," I will see you at dinner ok. I'm going to see if Billy is ok".

"OK Josh see you than, and thanks for the dress".

" Your welcome," Josh kissed her cheek and left. Reva walked over jumping up and down," OMG, he really loves me"

Josh went downstairs, and grabbed some pillows off the chairs, and ran to the tree house, and put them down. He smiled, "OMG I can't wait for tonight." He walked down the ladder and went to look for Billy. He saw him by the lake, he walked over.

"Billy are you feeling better"?

" Sure wonderful Josh, really"

" Reva is sorry, if she made you think she liked you that way"

" You told Reva you are a jerk Josh"

Billy got up , " I will hurt you back off"

Billy ran at Josh knocking him down, he was punching him.

HB and Miss Martha, were walking and saw the fight. HB ran over grabbing Josh, and yelled at Billy to stop.

Josh yelled, " he is crazy, he needs help".

" Yeah I need to get away from you Josh, I'm sick of you".

HB yelled " stop both of you , this is over Reva"?

Billy and Josh both run separate ways,and Miss Martha, looks at HB, with horror on her face

Chapter 16

Josh ran upstairs to his room, Reva heard him and ran into his room. She saw he was bleeding,and ran to him. She grabbed a cold cloth and wiped the blood away.

"What happened Josh"?

"Billy he is crazy, he must have fallen for you bad"

"He did this to you"?

" Yeah my Dad had to separate us, I can't stand him"

" Don't say that he is a great person, I have to talk to him"

" No he is really angry, stay away from him"

" He wouldn't hurt me, Josh, I have to".

" My Dad is going to give us a big lecture, my Mom is so upset".

" They might send me home"?

" If they do, I will go home too".

" Your Parents won't allow that".

" Reva, I'm falling in love with you, it is crazy"

" Crazy nice Josh", she smiled

"You know what I mean, I fell in love with you the moment, I saw you".

" You lay down for awhile, you look tired. Remember tonight we are still having our big night".

" You still want to Reva"?

" Yes, I still want to, rest, and later we can talk. I better get out of your room, in case your Mom or Dad come up". Reva kissed his forehead, "later Josh"

"Later Reva", Josh shut his eyes, his head was pounding. Reva walked downstairs, and walked outside. She saw HB and Miss Martha, and she could tell they were really upset. She walked down the path, and hoped she would see Billy . She was about to give up, when she noticed, him sitting by the pond. She walked over, "Billy I need to talk to you".

"Go away Reva, go kiss Josh's wounds better".

Reva sat down, " Billy what is wrong with you"?

" Nothing Reva go away".

" No don't tell me what to do you big bully".

Billy started to laugh, "Bully, nice".

"Why don't you pick on people your own, size, why did you beat on Josh"?

" I'm tired of him winning all the time. He is the golden boy of the Lewis family. He even gets the golden girl, is it fair no"?

" I really like you Billy but like a friend. You are adorable so many girls would love you. My heart belongs to Josh , I'm so sorry if I made you think other wise".

" You didn't, I just hoped, I wanted to win your heart"

" Josh is your brother Billy , please go to him, and make up".

" No, he will be fine, he has you, and my Parents"

" He loves you Billy , don't do this to him".

" Why should I go and say sorry, I told him to stay away from me"?

"Billy Lewis get off you butt, and go to your brother".

" What if I say no"?

" I will be really disappointed, because I think your a really cool guy." Reva smiled,

" Cool, but not the one, right Reva"?

"Billy I love Josh, I really do".

" you both just met, that is wild girl"

" I know but did you ever hear that sane " Love at first sight"?

" Yeah in movies, not in real life".

" It happened Billy, we both love each other".

Billy got up helping Reva, " I will go talk with him for you".

Reva hugged him, " I think of you like a big brother".

" Oh goody, just what I wanted another Sister".

" Where is Trish Billy"?

" At school, she is cool, you would love her".

"Ma Ma says she is a living doll, whatever that means"?

" She is perfect, but not really, but pretty close. Lets go back to the house, Reva "

They both walk talking and laughing, Billy sees his Parents and walks over.

" I'm sorry for the way I acted, I will go see Josh, and say sorry".

HB touched Billy's shoulder, " we love you both the same, stop thinking he is the golden boy".

"Sure Daddy, I know". Billy walked into the house, and Miss Martha and HB walk over to Reva.

" Did you talk to Billy Reva"?

" Yes, I hated that they were fighting"

" You know they were fighting over you"?

" I know I'm sorry, "

Miss Martha walked over, " lets go have a nice talk, I have to get to know the girl that has my boys going crazy."

Reva was scared, and Miss Martha smiled, " I won't bite you come on."

Billy knocked on Josh's door, and went into Josh's room. Josh sat up and looked at Billy , " I can't fight again Billy , you really hurt my head".

I'm sorry for acting like a jealous idiot. Do you want me to get you some Tylenol, or something"?

" Yes thanks".

"Billy walked over, and got the Tylenol, and water and handed them to Josh.

"Thanks Billy". Josh took the pills and put the glass down. He laid back on the bed, and smiled " Reva spoke to you right"?

" Yeah she set me straight, she has it bad for you little brother"

" I have it bad for her too Billy".

" I'm really sorry about your head, that was the first place, my fist landed".

" I know you had to hit the face"? Josh smiled.

" Yeah you don't look like golden boy with that bruise".

"Do you mind if I sleep for awhile Billy".?

" No sleep we will continue our conversation tonight".

" Yeah I would like that" and Josh fell asleep.

Billy stood up, " sorry little brother, " as he walked out

Chapter 17

Reva and Miss Martha walked without really saying anything. Miss Martha smiled, " lets sit under this tree, " they both sat down.

" It is really beautiful here Reva, don't you think"?

" Yes, Miss Martha, it is beautiful"

" I met HB here 21 years ago, his family had this cottage, on this land. We had one down the road, and I remember walking one day, I saw the most beautiful man , in the world".

Reva giggled, Miss Martha smiled, " I'm not kidding HB was one fine looking young man. I was 18 years old, he was 19 years old. "

" What happened did you fall in love right away"?

" Yes we did and we got carried away, and we thought we knew everything. I don't regret anything, but I got pregnant with Billy, and I was scared to death".

"OMG what did your parents think"?

" They were angry, and they stormed over to HB's parents, cottage. They were not happy either, and 1 month later we were married. I never should have rushed things, but I'm happy with HB, so everything turned out just fine. Josh reminds me so much of HB, but I don't want you both to make the same mistake. I would have loved to date, and have a whirlwind romance, but instead at 19 , I was married with a newborn. "

" You said it was worth it Miss Martha"

" I loved HB and Billy , but I lost so much, I never traveled or really had fun. Please don't make the same mistake me and HB made Reva, you are so young".

" I love Josh but we won't do that, I promise".

" You promise , that is sweet, but do you really mean that"?

" I do we will be careful, I love him Miss Martha, "

Miss Martha started to cry, " what is wrong, I won't disappoint you or my Ma Ma"

" I know dear, my boys are all grown up, and I miss them needing me"

" Oh Josh needs you, he always will".

" Your so sweet, but I'm sick sweetie, HB doesn't know yet"

" OMG how sick"?

" I have cancer, they can't do anything, but I'm ok ".

They got to the cottage, Miss Martha walked up to HB, and they hugged so tightly. Reva, turned away, with tears in her eyes. She hated knowing they were going to lose such a good woman. Miss Martha yelled, " "Come on Sweetie, lets go have a snack", she walked into the house. Reva walked up to HB, she hugged him, and he wrapped his arms around her. " Sweetie, is something wrong"?

" No, thank you for having me", she ran into the house. She sat at the table with Miss Martha she listened to her stories about Josh and Billy. They both laughed, talking for the longest time. It was supper time, Miss Martha, smiled, " go get Josh, for dinner". Reva ran upstairs, knocking on Josh's door.

" Come in"

Reva opened the door, " supper Josh, how is your headache"?

" It is better" Reva walked over, and sat beside Josh.

" What is wrong Reva you look sad"?

" I just missed you today, I can't wait until tonight. I just have to ask you one thing"?

Chapter 18

Josh came down, and everyone ate their supper. Everyone was happy for a change, Billy was cracking jokes making everyone laugh. Reva watched Miss Martha, and she saw the love on her face for her boys. She can't imagine, Billy and Josh losing this wonderful Woman, they will be devastated. After dinner Sarah brought out dessert, it was chocolate cake, and Billy smiled, " is this all for me"?

"No boy, you have to share", everyone laughed

After dinner everyone was sitting around talking , and playing cards. Reva was so nervous , all she could do was look at the clock, hoping everyone would go to bed early. Sarah already went to bed, it was 10:30 pm, and she prayed, Billy, HB and Miss Martha would go to. It was 11:00 when Miss Martha smiled," I have had a long day, I'm going to bed" HB jumped up," me too, you kids should go to bed too"

Billy got up, " I'm beat having that fight took a lot out of me" He smiled at Josh, " took a lot out of you too"

HB shook his head, " Billy Lewis, the night was going great, you really are a pain".

" I know Daddy, I can't help it".

Miss Martha, laughed, " I wouldn't want you to change son, you are a original".

" Ma Ma, is that suppose to be a put down"?

" Go to bed, Josh , Reva don't stay up late" Reva got up, "I'm going to bed too, I have a big day tomorrow" She looked at Josh and smiled, she went upstairs with Billy and Miss Martha. Josh sat on the couch, and he smiled, and ran upstairs, waiting for 12 o clock to arrive.

Josh took a shower, and went through his clothes, laughing, "what should I wear"?

Reva was in her room, she took a shower, and sat on the bed. Her stomach was doing a number on her nerves. She sat back, what if he is disappointed, she laughed, trying to remember, what she saw in the films she watched with romance.

She looked at the clock, OMG 1/2 hour, she got up grabbing her dress. She held it against her looking in the mirror, as she twirled. She put it on, and just stared at herself, she couldn't recognize herself. She pulled her hair back, and fixed her makeup. She smiled," he will be happy , I hope". She opened her door, and went downstairs, and walked alone to the tree house. She wanted to beat Josh there, and she climbed up, and laughed, seeing him sitting there waiting for her. She walked in, and he smiled, " OMG you look beautiful Reva"

"You picked this out, it is the prettiest dress, I ever saw"

"It is pretty, because it on you, come sit beside me Reva"

She walked over sitting beside him, she was nervous, Josh held her hands. " If your not ready, I can wait Reva"

" I'm ready, just lets talk for awhile, ok"

Josh jumped up, grabbing the champagne, " would you like some"?

" Sure champagne, wow you went all out on me"

" This isn't that expensive, but it probably tastes the same"

" I never had champagne before" . Reva smiled

He poured two glasses, and handed her one. She giggled, " wow batman glasses, cool".

"Sorry if I took Ma Ma's, real ones, she would notice".

" This is fine, I'm teasing", she sipped some," yum this is good"

" He sat beside her," I didn't bring food, are you hungry"?

" No Josh I'm fine", she took another sip. she smiled and he touched her chin, she moved her lips to his mouth. He took the glass out of her hand, she moved closer, as they stood staring at each other.

"Josh I'm ready if you are"?

" You sure, I know this is your first time, I don't want you to regret it"?

" I never will", she touched his lips, as they kissed again. He moved his hands up her dress, she thought she would faint. She moaned as he roamed his hands down her back, unzipping her dress, she just stared. As he slowly moved it down, her shoulders, he brought his lips to her neck, she giggled. He laughed, as he lifted the dress, off of her, and put it on a chair. She put her hands up but he whispered " no don't be shy", as he moved behind her and unbuttoned her bra , and pulled it off, she was sitting in her panties, only as she laid back. He stood up, he took his shirt off, she smiled, " she whispered " Nice Josh". He undid his belt to his pants, and slid them off. She watched at awe, he took the condom out of his pocket and she watched as he put it on, she laughed, " it isn't funny, this is a serious moment Reva".

" Ok, I will be good", she smiled, as he got on the cot, and he leaned down. He kissed her lips, and moved down, her neck, down to her stomach. She wanted to giggle, but she knew it would ruin the moment. He looked at her and smiled " may I "?

Josh couldn't stop laughing, " remove your panties sweetie"

Reva put her hands over her face, " Oh I'm sorry, yes you may".

He slowly removed them, and she suddenly got scared, shutting her eyes.

She laid back Josh moved on top of her, he used his body to open her legs, he entered her slowly, watching her face. She moaned, she shut her eyes, it hurt, but she wrapped her arms, around Josh. He whispered, " I'm not hurting you, am I"?

" Don't stop", she had tears rolling down her cheek, she never felt so loved in her whole life. He moved slowly, trying not to hurt her, but he knew she was in some pain. She cried out, and he whispered, " it is ok this is natural, what your feeling is good". She shivered, her whole body shook as she came to a shattering release. She held on to Josh, as he came to his release, and they both stared at each other, with tears in their eyes.

Chapter 19

Reva started to cry, Josh sat up, "OMG did I hurt you"?

Reva touched Josh's face, "NO", she hugged him

"What is wrong Reva, do you regret this"? as he hugged her tight.

She sat up she was shivering, Josh grabbed a blanket,and put it around her. " Your cold, OMG lets get you back to the cottage".

" No, I'm not upset, I don't know what I'm feeling"?

" That is natural, this was hard it was your first time. I'm so sorry, you weren't ready"

" I was ready, you were amazing, and I don't regret it. I just feel different", she hugged him tightly

"Sweetie , I'm not a woman, but I'm sure all woman feel this way. I will die, if you regret this night, it was beautiful"

"Tears fall down Reva's cheek, she brought her lips to Josh. He held her face, " you are so beautiful, I thank you for this gift".

She opened the box, she lifted it up. " Oh Josh this is so beautiful".

He got up, walking behind her putting it on her. She shivered feeling his hands on her shoulder. She leaned back, "Josh this night , is the best night of my life".

Josh laid her down, kissing her, as she whispering, " I want you Josh".

"No you have been through enough already"

Josh stood, " I didn't give you that necklace, expecting you to give yourself to me again. We can wait, I should get you back to the cottage".

Josh walked over sitting beside her, " I think we should wait, I love you for offering. I know I hurt you, this is your first time. I want you Reva, but I think we should wait."

Reva started to cry, " you weren't happy with me"?

Josh laid her back wrapping the blanket around her , and laid beside her. He touched her face, " Reva don't you ever think , I wasn't happy. You were so beautiful, but I saw it was very traumatic for you. I want you, but I don't think it is a good idea."

" You want to go back to the cottage"?

" Can we just hold each other Reva, I would love that"?

" I would to", she laid her head on his chest. He moved his hand through her hair. She looked into his eyes, " thank you, I know your thinking of me".

" Yes , I would die if I hurt you rushing things".

" Does it hurt all the time"?

" It will get better, but it is a big moment for you"

" Do I look different, will Ma Ma tell"?

Josh sat up, " OMG don't say that"

Reva laughed, " why are you afraid of Ma Ma"?

" Yeah, she would kill me, I love Sarah".

Reva sat up, " I know you don't want to make love again. How about, if we just kiss" she roamed her hand on his chest.

Reva your making this hard on me, "I won't be able to resist in a minute"

" Good, I'm so afraid, you won't want me again. I will die, if this is my only night with you like this"

" Ok what is wrong Reva, you think I just used you"?

"No, but I don't know if I can handle losing you after these 2 weeks are over".

"Yeah I did date but I didn't have that many girlfriends. Billy did, he had a new one every 2nd day".

Josh touched her face, " We have a lifetime to be together." He brought her lips to his, and they kissed. She moved close, and they laid beside each other, kissing and touching until , they finally relaxed, and just held each other. They both fell asleep , in each others, arms.

The next morning , HB was angry, Reva and Josh were not down for breakfast yet. "I'm tired, of waiting for them, because they stay up half the night".

Miss Martha tells Billy to go up, and wake them up. Billy runs up, opening Josh's door, noticing him missing. He walks to Reva's room, knocking, she didn't answer so he opened the door. He walked downstairs, "they are not in their room, the beds are made". HB and Miss Martha, both stare at each other. Billy smiled, " I think I know where they are, just a minute". He ran out of the house, straight to the tree house. He ran up the steps, and banged open the door. Reva and Josh both jump, both not dressed, and Billy yelled , " OMG you guys are dead".

Chapter 20

Josh made sure Reva was covered, "Billy get out of here".

"Everyone is waiting for you at the breakfast table, you fools"

"OMG what time is it"? Reva is crying

"8am"

" Oh know Josh they will know what we did" Reva looked at him.

" It is ok, Billy give us privacy"

" Josh you had to do it, I hope you get crap from Dad"

" Fine get out, she has to get dressed"

" Reva wow you made out in a tree house you must be proud"

Josh punched Billy, who pushed Josh, " fine I will leave, but I'm telling them where you were".

" I hate you Billy , I will never speak to you again".

Reva screams, " stop it, please", she starts to cry , and she started to shake.

Billy felt bad, " I'm sorry , for what I said Reva".

" What that I'm cheap, I love Josh, you are so cruel"?

Billy left, " Josh grabs Reva's dress and bra," let me help you "

" I promised your Ma, Ma, she will hate me"

" She won't they will be mad at me, calm down"

Reva got up her hands shook, he helped her dress. He dressed quickly, and he helped her down the ladder. They walked home, she was crying, she stopped, " you really don't regret what we did"?

" No, never that was the most amazing night , I ever had".

" Me too", they kiss, but jump when HB ran out. He grabbed Josh, smacking him across the face. Reva screamed , " No stop, we didn't do anything wrong"?

" You are 17 , what do you mean"?

" I love him Mr. Lewis, don't be mad at Josh."

"Get in the house, your Ma Ma, is devastated"

Reva ran up the stairs, Miss Martha turned her face away from her. " I'm sorry", she ran upstairs, to her room, falling on her bed.

HB grabbed Josh screaming at him, " get your hands off me"

Miss Martha ran down the stairs, " HB stop don't hit him again".

" You disgust me Josh, I begged you to respect me, and you went behind my back".

" I love her and she loves, me"

" I love Reva, and what makes what I did so different than you. You got Ma Ma pregnant at 18. I'm not stupid, you married, and Billy was born 4 months later, at least , I used a condom".

HB smacked Josh, so hard, Miss Martha ran down the stairs, but collapsed, causing HB and Josh both to scream. They ran over , and she was unconscious. HB lifted her into his arms, rocking her. Josh started crying he ran into the house, grabbing the phone dialing 911. Billy walked over, " what is wrong, your calling the police"?

" No Ma Ma, collapsed, shut up , Billy"

Billy ran out, Josh was shaking , he told the 911 operator, his Mother collapsed, and where the cottage was. They said they would be right there. Reva ran downstairs, "Josh what happened, OMG look at your face".?

" Ma Ma collapsed Reva, it is my fault". "OMG", Reva ran outside, and over to HB and Miss Martha." Is she ok, OMG Miss Martha", HB was in a trance, rocking her. Josh walked out, he went to touch Miss Martha, and HB yelled, " leave her alone, this is your fault".

Reva was crying, " No she has cancer , she didn't want to tell you guys".

HB stared at Reva, " Cancer"?

" Yes, she is really sick, it is not Josh's fault."

HB started to cry, and Billy and Josh stood speechless, as they all waited for the ambulance.

Chapter 21

Everyone went to the hospital with Miss Martha and waited for news. The doctor called HB in and explained everything. He said she maybe has 6 months left, and all he could do is make her comfortable, and happy. HB broke down, he couldn't lose the woman, he adored, and depended on. Billy was quiet he was rocking back and forth, the thought of losing his Mother, it was to much to handle. Sarah walked over to HB, and sat him down, they were waiting for Miss Martha to come back from some tests. Josh walked over and said " Daddy I'm so sorry, I didn't want to hurt you and Ma Ma"

HB yelled," go back to the cottage Josh, I don't want you here , go now".

Josh ran out, and Reva ran after him. He was so upset, and Reva grabbed his arm," your Daddy is upset Josh"

"So am I Reva, she is my Mother"

" I know what are you going to do"?

" I'm walking back to the cottage, you wait with them"

" I'm going with you Josh", she held his hand, and they walked. It was 1/2 later they reached the cottage. Josh walked in, and ran upstairs.

Reva shut the door, and walked upstairs, and opened Josh's door. He was laying on the bed, she walked over to him. "Josh let me help you, don't push me away please"

" I'm not , I'm so angry, I should be alone"

Reva crawled on the bed, and laid facing Josh. " I'm not leaving you alone"

" How did you know about my Ma Ma"?

" She told me yesterday, when she was giving me a lecture, in a nice way".

" A lecture what do you mean"?

" She was afraid we would get in trouble, but we won't"

Josh sat up, " I don't know what to do, I'm so confused"?

" You can't do anything, we all have to be here for her"

" What is wrong with me, my Mom is dying, and I want you this minute"?

" I feel the same way", she brought her lips to his, as he held her back.

" What is wrong Josh," ?

He touched her face, " we shouldn't do this, not in my parents home"

Reva pushed Josh back, " what we did wasn't wrong, I'm not ashamed"

Josh rolled Reva on her back, " I don't regret it either, I need your right now Reva." He got up pulling his jeans off, and she pulled her dress off. She got under the covers as he got in bed. He moved close, she yelled wait, " a condom Josh".

" OMG", he got up, grabbing one, and walked over. He turned putting it on, she laid waiting. His hands were shaking so bad he threw it," I can't do it".

Reva jumped up grabbing her dress, crying, " I'm sorry"

" What , where are you going"?

" I was wrong, your not ready, your upset"

" What am I going to do without her Reva"?

Reva walked over hugging Josh, and they hugged each other. Josh looked into Reva's eyes, and at that moment, he knew she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He touched her face, as their lips came together. She touched his lips, " if your not ready, I will leave"

Josh leaned her back, " I don't want to ever let you go". He grabbed another condom, and put it on. Reva got under the covers, as Josh moved beside her. He whispered " I love you Reva", and he smiled " you sure you want to do this"?

" I'm ready Josh", as he moved over her first caressing her, and making her at ease. She moaned, as he kissed her again, she wrapped her arms, around him, and he was holding her, cherishing her, as if he'd never let her go. Reva's eyes, had tears. She kissed him in return, then shifted to accommodate him and felt a sense of completion when he surged into her. She arched her back, and she cried out feeling some pain, but not like before. Josh was so gentle, but he was making Reva shake with excitement, as he whispered in her ear. She cried out, as she was being brought to her release, and she held him tight as he trembled and he released. She shook as they both held each other , she felt like she was with the man she would always spend the rest of her life with.

Chapter 22

Reva and Josh were sitting on the couch in the living room. They were waiting for someone to come home to give them news about Miss Martha. Reva laid her head on Josh's lap, and he touched her hair. She shut her eyes, and fell asleep, in his lap. Josh was laying awake, but fell asleep too. It was 1 hour later, HB, Sarah and Billy walked in, seeing them sleeping on the couch.

HB walked over yelling Josh's name, and they both jumped.

" I have been waiting all day, is Mom ok"?

" No she isn't she is dying Josh, and knowing what you did hurt her".

" I'm sorry your upset Daddy, but me and Reva love each other"

" Oh after a few days, of meeting each other"?

"Yes, we are not ashamed,"

" Josh get out of my face, you make me sick"

Reva got up, "Stop it Mr. Lewis, we didn't want to hurt anyone"

" You are 17 years old, you hurt your Mother"

" I'm sorry Ma Ma, but I really love him". Reva has tears in her eyes.

Sarah walked over, " Reva what you did was wrong, how could you"?

" Ma Ma, he really loves me, I believe it in my heart"

Sarah ran upstairs, and HB yelled, "you both should be proud. Your Mothers are devastated, but as long as you love each other, that is all that is important."

" Daddy stop talking to Reva like that". Josh screamed.

Billy yelled, " Stop both of you, Ma Ma is dying , think about her"

HB looked at Billy , and stormed upstairs. Billy stared at Josh, and walked over, " why couldn't you just wait"?

" Billy stop it, we feel bad but we don't regret what we did"

" Good Josh, I'm so happy for you both". He ran upstairs, and Josh stared at Reva and they both broke down and cried. Josh touched her face, " go to bed Reva, I have to go for a walk".

" No, I'm not leaving you alone"

" Reva my Mother is dying, and I hurt her"

"She will forgive you, Josh , I know it"

" He won't let me see her, I'm her son".

" Lets go now, they will let us see her"

"It is to late to walk there"

" Take your Daddy's car, he won't need it now"

Josh grabbed the keys, off the key ring, and grabbed Reva's hand. They drove to the hospital and parked. They went to the nurse's station, and told them they needed to see Miss Martha. They said no but seeing how distraught Josh was, they allowed them 10 minutes only. Reva held Josh's hand, and they walked down the hall.

They walked in and Miss Martha was awake, and she smiled, seeing them.

" Ma Ma", Josh ran over holding her hand.

"Josh, I was so worried about you and Reva"

" Dad was so angry, he wouldn't let me see you"

" I know he is worried, so am I"

Josh started to cry, " Mom your really sick, why didn't you tell us"?

" I was going to after this holiday"

" I can't lose you Mom, what will I do"?

" You will be fine, it is your Daddy, I'm worried about"

Miss Martha looked at Reva, " Sweetie, how are you"?

" Sad, I'm so sorry, I had to tell them, when you collapsed"

" That is ok, they would have known anyways, when I got here."

" I know your disappointed in me and Josh, but we were careful, I promise".

" I know Sweetie, I just think your to young"

Josh held Reva's hand , "I love her Ma Ma, I won't hurt her".

" You both are young, and I hope you both will stay together."

"Ma Ma, Daddy won't forgive me"

" He will Josh, he is angry about everything. He is so scared, and he loves me". Miss Martha started to cry, " I love him so much Josh, I hate leaving you all. You have to promise you will help him once I'm gone".

" I will Ma Ma, I promise"

" You and Billy have to be close, he will need you two"

" Ma Ma, can't they do something to help you"?

" Josh they have tried, back home, I'm going to die soon"

Reva started to cry, and leaned into Josh.

The Nurse walked in, "you have to let her rest now".

"Ok thank you, Mom, I will come back tomorrow ok"

" I might be released soon, there is nothing anyone can do for me"

Josh kissed his Mom, and so did Reva, they left the room. Josh walked to the car helping Reva in. He walked to the driver side, and got in. He broke down crying, and Reva reached over touching his arm. He looked at her, and they both hugged each other.
