The New Southfork Dining Room

Just thinking that for years the show was based on the family at least sharing their meals together. Everyone sat in their own chairs and no one dared moved. Now with a new series where do you see everyone at Southfork sitting?

This is what I see:
JR sitting in Jock's Chair
Sue Ellen sitting beside him in Lucy's Chair
John Ross's Woman sitting in Sue Ellens Old Chair
John Ross where JR used to be
Bobby sitting in Miss Ellie's Chair
Bobby's Woman sitting in his old chair
Christopher where Pam used to sit
Christopher's woman where he used to sit.

I know this is a silly thread, but thought I'd post it anyway. Maybe the show might now even portray the family sitting down for dinner, but I think that small detail is very important to the legacy of Dallas.

I think you're right about Bobby and JR at the two ends but if Bobby is in Miss Ellie's seat that would place JR's old seat at his end so I think more likely John Ross in Lucy's old seat and Sue Ellen opposite him (although it remains to be seen if she lives there) with Christopher and his new stepmother at diagonal opposites to their counterparts and the new daughters-in-law in the middle of each row next to their husbands.

That's a very interesting thing to think about. I imagine it will be similar to what's been said here.

Two more interesting questions regarding the new series though are:

1. Did Teresa and Raul finally end up running off together?
2. Who inherited Miss Ellie's chili recipe?
