In December, 1983, the news hits that the Dynasty cast filmed scenes at Denver's real-life Carousel Ball that past October. The coup for Dynasty was snagging former President of the United States Gerald Ford, his wife the former First Lady Betty Ford, and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger to film walk-on appearances with the Carringtons and The Colbys! I don't think Kissinger knew what to make of Joan Collins' Alexis Colby!
