Adam and Amanda how close were they really?
Adam and Amanda's relationship has always intrigued me for several reasons
1: They both arrived when each if the original Carrington siblings; Fallon and Steven were 'killed off'
2: They were raised away from the Carrington household
3: They seemed really close and Adam genuinely seemed to care for her especially after she was kidnapped
4: Amanda was the only sibling he allowed to critisises him, which she did in season 7 about him betraying Blake
Now if that were Fallon he'd would've sniggered sarcastically and with Steven he would've punched him
But for some reason the writers never explored they're relationship fully unlike Fallon and Steven we saw them in most seasons as being very close for me Adam and Amanda somehow mirrored that relationship only reversed they were the newbies whilst F/S were the seasoned carringtons

Hmm well there's a scene in Season 7 where he criticises Amanda but not in a hurtful way; it's just brotherly advice. I never really thought about it TBH, but now you come to mention it you may have a point. Isn't there also a scene in S7 where him and Alexis discuss the relationship with Culhane?

Yeah there is come to think of it though never understood how Adam could talk about Culhane like he knew him back in 1980 when the thing between Fallon/Micheal pre-dates his arrival in Denver but hey, he was concerned for Amanda in that scene nevertheless then that proves that Adam really cared for Amanda because he wasn't particularly concerned when Fallon was dating

Perhaps Fallon still spoke about Culhane when Adam already was there? Or the family?
