Thank you soooo much, agacs, especially for the "Colbys"-bit. Stanwyck's missing, I wonder why..
On their way to the stage, Joan Collins touches John and Emma and seems to be happy for them. Was that just pretending or did she start hating that show later on?

Was that because S2 was barely with tons of luck announced?

Yes, I think so. But I noticed another thing there... when they arrived on stage, and Heston kisses Samms.... just watch Claire Yarletts' face. If THAT doesn't tell stories...

The thing with Joan is that Dynasty made her superstar and she wasn't willing to let that go (why would she?) and so when ratings started to fall she blamed everyone especially spinoff and in some points she was right. Everytime that some show is popular networks make always the same mistakes - spinoff and change of timeslot.
Dynasty II: The Colbys - the most stupid title ever, it was so obvious that ABC's intention was if Dynasty fails, The Colbys will raise and they were so wrong.

If Colbys did well in slot after Dynasty why didn't ABC keep them there, or they really thougt we have two Dynasty's and people would get confused so they can't air the same night?
