My Final Chapter.

Chapter 39

JR was freaking out, Bobby, Miss Ellie and Pam had to calm him down. He was afraid to go in the hospital, but they got him inside. They went to the nurses station. She got them to fill out papers, Bobby had to sign them. JR yelled at the nurse, "where is my Wife, and child"?

"They are being looked after, the Doctor will be out in a minute". JR , Pam, Miss Ellie , and Bobby sat on a bench, all of them were scared, they didn't know what to think. It was 20 minutes later, the Doctor walked out, and walked over to them. JR jumped up, "OMG is Sue Ellen, and my Daughter ok"?

"Mr. Ewing your wife and Daughter are going to be ok. Your wife went into shock, she gave us a bit of a scare, but she is coming around now. The baby is doing great, she is a healthy one, she has a healthy set of lungs"

"She is early"

"Yes but she is fine, a little under weight but she will overcome that".

"Can I see my Wife, and Baby"?

"The baby is having some tests, but yes you can see your Wife. She is very weak, but she is awake, you all can go in and see her". Bobby, Pam, Miss Ellie and JR walked in, they walked over to the bed. Sue Ellen smiled, "I hear I gave everyone a scare, I don't know what happened"?

JR took her hand, "Don't you ever do that to me again"

"Our Daughter is beautiful JR, what should we call her"?

" I thought you had a name already Sue Ellen"?

"I wanted Faith, because of this past year, without Faith, I would have lost it JR. I kept going because of our Baby girl, I couldn't let her down, she needed me".

"You didn't let her down Sugar, you were so brave"

Sue Ellen smiled, she put her hand out to Pam. She walked over holding Sue Ellen's hand. "Sue Ellen you scared us all, but you really were brave, I don't know if I could do what you did"

"I always wondered what I missed with John Ross, oh it is painful". Pam smiled, "I'm sure, it was"

"Pam you were amazing in the car, you stepped in, and delivered my baby"

JR smiled, "Yeah I wasn't much help, that was to much for me Sue Ellen"

"JR I want to name our Daughter Faith, Pamela Ewing, you are ok with that"?

JR walked over to Pam, and hugged her, and whispered, "Thank You Pam, I'm sorry I let you do it all by yourself"

"That is ok JR, it was a shock, and I was scared too, but Sue Ellen needed me".

JR smiled, "Faith Pamela Ewing, is a perfect name Sue Ellen". Bobby was proud of his brother, it was really the first time he treated his wife with respect, and seeing that really meant the world to Bobby. He never thought that would ever happen, but he sure was happy it did.

Bobby walked over, "Sue Ellen you sure love to do things the hard way". Miss Ellie walked over, "You got married, and delivered a baby the same day".

"Miss Ellie you have another Granddaughter, she is so lucky to have you as her Grandma"

"I'm going to love having a baby Granddaughter running around, this family needs that right now".

The Nurse walked in, and was carrying the baby. She walked over, putting the baby in Sue Ellen's arms. Sue Ellen smiled, "Hi Faith Pamela, Ewing, I'm your Ma Ma".

JR leaned over, "I'm you Daddy Sweetie". Sue Ellen laughed, "She is so adorable JR, she looks a bit like John Ross when he was a baby"

"Oh wait until John Ross finds out he has a Sister"

"He will be fine, he will protect his Little Sister always". Sue Ellen whispered, "JR you want to hold her"?

"Yes Sugar", he took her into his arms, he couldn't believe she was his little girl. He knew he wasn't going to let anyone hurt his baby girl, but he had a while to worry about that. He walked over to Bobby, "she is cute Bobby, she is the newest Ewing"

"She is a Beauty just like her Ma Ma, she has the same pout"

"I don't pout Bobby". Sue Ellen laughed

"You do, but it is adorable, but you normally pout because JR, got on your nerves"

"Yeah true".

JR smiled, "Yeah blame everything on JR Ewing"

Pam walked over, "Can I hold your little Angel"?

"Sure Pam here", JR put her into Pam's arms, she rocked Faith, and smiled, "Hi I'm your Auntie Pam, I'm going to spoil you big time"

JR smiled, "Yeah I think we all will spoil her".

Pam turned to Sue Ellen, "She is beautiful Sue Ellen"

"Thanks Pam". Miss Ellie touched Faith's cheek, and whispered, "Do you want to come to Grandma"? Pam handed the baby over to Miss Ellie. She held her, and walked over sitting in a chair, looking at her. She smiled, "You are a beauty Angel, your Grandpa Clayton will love you, but your Grandpa Jock, would have loved you too". JR walked over touching, Miss Ellie's shoulder, "I'm sure Daddy is here right now Ma Ma, he wouldn't miss this day for anything". Miss Ellie had tears in her eyes, and smiled, "I'm sure your right JR, he sure loved this family, even as crazy as we all are". Everyone laughed, and they all looked at Faith, and were happy, maybe now the family would be together, like this should be, and maybe the fighting will end.

Faith was a miracle , she came into the world, after the worst few months of her Parents life. She was a joy, everyone wanted to hold her, and play with her. She was getting spoiled, JR and Sue Ellen didn't care because she was young yet. JR knew she was going to be a Daddy's Girl, she was already. He would take her, and John Ross for long walks after work. He adored Sue Ellen, he vowed he would be the Husband , and Father he should be. He saw what she went through in the car, it made him realize, he needed to grow up, and stop thinking of himself. The Family had their ups and downs, but basically they all were happy. JR and Pam got along fairly well, he decided to forget about the Barnes/ Ewing feud. He didn't think he would ever get along with Cliff, but he didn't mention him around Pam. Sue Ellen was healthy, and happy, and she loved her husband, and her children. The Family never saw her more happy, and they prayed, that JR would never hurt her again. It was weird JR realized, it took Garnet to make him realize, what was important. He hated her, put part of him felt he was partially to blame for what she did. He couldn't get over that she hurt his boy, but he had to put that in the past, and focus on what was important, that was Sue Ellen, Faith, and John Ross.
