Dana Delaney to Leave DH?

They had a blurb on the news today that Dana Delaney might be leaving DH to go to another series. I wouldn't mind - I don't think her character has added much to the show anyway. Anyone going to miss her?

Everyone's disposable on DH, some more than others. Honestly I think the show could go on no matter who decided to leave.

Well I'd miss Katherine Mayfair, but she had a good run and was never considered part of the core 4.

They should have killed her off last Season instead of Edie. I don't think she ever brought a whole lot of interestingness to the show despite Delaney being a good actress.

I agree with Darius, the lesbian thing could be interesting. After watching the show this past Sunday, though, I felt like the writers were stuck on what to do with Katherine. I admit, it looks like it might be time for her to go. I like Dana, but I'm not sure about her charactor being used for a storyline like that. I mean, if they decide to keep Dana around for a few more seasons, would they be able to bring her back to a straight woman and make it believeable (without jumping ahead another 6 months to 5 years)? I think that they would have to leave her as a lesbian. My question is, how far can they take the story before they have to make Katherine a secondary charactor, like Bob, Lee and Andrew?

That is a shame - but now that I think about it, Katherine really doesn't have anywhere else to go.

I have always found DD very attractive (she gets better with age) and have followed her since her "China Beach" days.

I will not watch her new show ("Castle"), but hope that she has future success.

I hope that if she is truly leaving the show, she gets a better send-off than what has been written (but DON'T kill her off though!).

I don't think they'd kill her off per say. If her pilot falls through, she could find herself back on Wisteria Lane (hopefully with a better storyline ).

Finally watched "DH" last night and have to say....Katherine isn't missed.

However, did they really get rid of Lee (for good)?

He was kinda cliched, so I wouldn't miss him too much.
