What was your favorite season of Beverly Hills, 90210?

As much as I enjoyed all of them, personally, I've never been able to choose between Seasons 1&2.

I don't know, I thought Season's 8 & 10 were quite good. Season 9 on the other hand could be quite questionable at times.

Season 1 was a rather cute and heartwarming season. There were no major plotlines, no juicy drama but I liked how family oriented this season was. I liked how we got to know everyone through Brandon and Brenda's eyes. With the secret crushes, shoplifting, getting drunk for the first time, adapting to high school and throwing slumber parties the gang really felt (and looked) like kids this season. It was all very innocent and at times quite boring too. It's not a season I re-watch very often (or at all), if you've seen the episodes once you know the ending within the first 5 minutes (the episodes are self-contained after all). But despite the slow start it was a good build up to the rest of the series.

Season 2 is a mixed bag for me. Most of the cuteness of season 1 was gone but the show hadn't yet become serialized so there wasn't any dramatic stoylines going on either. It's like the show was struggling to find its tone and as a result season 2 doesn't have a very strong identity. I did like seeing the Brenda/Dylan relationship, the build up of David & Donna and the non-Walshes getting more screen time. Other than that it was pretty bleh.

Seasons 1, 2 & 4 are the best seasons, 3, 5-10 were pretty shoddy those were the years they tried to hard to promote Jennie Garth as the lead and im sorry but she can't act, s1, 2, 4 were great b/c the more weighty
Shannen Doherty & Luke Perry were the leading actors and in seasons 4-6 especially in got the impression that the writers were trying to make
Brenda & Dylan look like bad characters and Kelly was the good one

This is tough. I'd say that seasons 3-5 and 9-10 are in my top five. And then the first two seasons, as well as seasons 6-8 would be in the lower five. Basically for me, Dylan made the show.

It's hard to say for me, but I would have to say Season 3 was my favorite.

I personally loved season 1 the best, but I enjoyed most of the series.

Season 2 is my fave it has so many classic 90210 moments in it and really was the show at its cultural and epic peak.

I picked 10 as it was a brilliant return to form (the gang being connected again, character-interaction, sharp dialogue)...

But my other favs would be

Season 8
Season 9 (the only one I feel was not up to par).

I realise after season 4, the dynamics changed - But I am in the minority of loving overall the entire series!!! And it ended beautifully
