I have seen this, it's very interesting. It's a shame he had such problems at Dallas, but I'm sure they weren't really related to him-simply put, he was the Bobby replacement and when Bobby came back, after Jack had been the star of the show for a year that didn't happen, clearly it was one more awkward remnant of the dream they aimed to get rid of for the sake of needing the audience to move on. Plus his look and demeanor was so similar to Bobby and Ray that he was an extraneous personality really. However I do think he was a heck of a charming and good actor, he was one of my favorite parts of the dream and his story is truly touching and inspiring. I am glad he got to be a part of Dallas if only for a little while.
I'll take a look at this as soon as I can but I just to comment on the silver/white hair. WOW he aged overnight or was that the effect of the treatment?
Thanks Garry
I will check out the story on the dallasfanzine site. I like Dack Rambo and loved him as Jack. Thanks for the photos, they are awesome. Dack was one fine looking man..Thanks for always giving us wonderful, photos, and articles to read. Keep them coming Garry, I for one love all the stuff you post.

Awesome character and actor that really really could have done so much much more on the show. Gotta check out this documentary i am a huge fan of his.

Thankyou Garry. I'm going to check the documentary out - should be interesting.![]()
Thanks Garry for that, I have never seen that before and it was interesting. Morgan Fairchild spoke of him with great affection at Fan Source in 2008, and he looks so like his twin brother. He was a good addition to Dallas. Sad end.

Great stuff!

dack was one of my favourite on dallas...he died way to young, very sad, thanks for sharing garry![]()
IF IT AINT DUTCH..IT AINT MUCH!!
Thanks as always Garry! I have that on DVD from E!, I think they should replay it once in a while, I don't think it has been on for a long time now (being his name is not Kardashian..)... he was under rated and his story is very interesting- and sad...
I have to watch this when I finish posting here on the forums now in a few minutes and I will comment on it after I have watched it.
As for Dack Rambo, I liked him a lot. But, like those other good characters that were on the show, he was treated rotten aswell. Killing-off Jamie, writing out Jack and the departures of may other good characters, Dack Rambo was one of the positive things about The Dream Season.
He was also great in the short-lived "Paper Dolls", where he played a character COMPLETELY different to his role on "Dallas".
I remember the first time I found out he was a twin. You can tell them apart though, because Dack has a more thinner, slightly longer face, while Dirk had a little bit of a chubbier face.
As usual, thanks garry. Dack Rambo was a favorite of mine and I enjoyed his stint on Dallas. The "Rambo Twins" were really nice looking men. Such a shame both of them are gone now.
Don't Mess With Texas
Bobby to Jenna: "You knew you could have come to me, the way I felt about you"....

Very interesting documentary. I had no idea he'd been in the business for so long.
I just watched this. It was very good Documentary on The Rambo Twins. They seemed like real nice people and their Mother and their Sister seem like very nice, decent people aswell. It's very sad that they both died. That heartbreak that Dack went through when he lost Dirk was awful. They must have been best friends and loved each other very much. That was funny when their Mother said they used to switch classes in school and even she couldn't tell them apart at times, LoL! They must have been hilarious lads! I would have loved to have seen them switch around roles later on. Imagine if Dack switched with Dirk for an Episode of "Paper Dolls" or "Dallas", LoL!
^ OMG!! Paper Dolls!! I think I may have one of the few complete sets on DVD!! For some unknown reason I recorded it ages ago and I just came across it- I forgot I even had it, and worse, I've never watched it!!![]()
So sad .Thanks for the photos Garry
Dack Rambo accused Larry Hagman of being homophobic and getting rid of him from Dallas, Hagman thought Dacks accusation was so far fetched it wasnt worth arguing about in the press, hmmmm..................
