It's the only track I have by him. It's kind of a Richard Clayderman-esque piano instrumental.

That's right! I saw the film with Jennifer Rosehip.

Funny little doodle of a track isn't it, "Act Of Contrition"? I quite like it though.

Can I assume that you have some of the "Television's Greatest Hits" cds then James? I've got three of them ("70s & 80s, "Remote Control" and "Cable Ready"), and I really enjoy them - especially as most are the original versions, and even the cover versions are pretty authentic.
But then I'm a sucker for tv themes. So much so that I've created new genres on my iTunes: TV Soundtrack (songs used in TV shows), and TV Score (original music from tv shows, including themes).

I was 16 when I first heard it (on the B-side for the Like A Prayer single), and I was so ready for the weirdness of it - besides, I thought Madonna could do no wrong at the time. Yes - I still enjoy it now and then.

You can. I've got "50's & 60's" on vinyl and "70's & 80's" on CD. I had a look at some of the others on Amazon recently, but they're a bit pricey.
