Now that Jeff has gotten a taste of power twice in a row with the coup-de-tat and then HOH, he's starting to loose his likability. It just occurred to me that the reason I've been rooting for Jeff's side of the house is because they were the underdogs and they seemed the most genuine.
Now that Jeff's gotten a taste of power, I believe it's gone to his head. He's blown up at Jordan, and now he's gone back on his word with Russell. Although Russell basically said to Michelle that he would be going after him, I think it was dumb of Jeff to place all his trust in the hands of Kevin and Natalie.
I mean seriously. They have been on opposites sides during the entire game, now all of a sudden they're planting the seed in Jeff's mind that Russell can't be trusted. And Jeff and Jordan buy it hook, line, and sinker. If I was in the house, it would be very obvious to me that they were simply trying to save their own necks.
Not only that, but Russell rightly pointed out that Jeff is now the strongest player in the house, which puts a target on his back. If he had kept the nominations the same, they could have worked on getting Russell out next week. Now Natalie and Kevin are going to be gunning for Jeff, and Michelle probably will be too. His only hope is for Jordan to win HOH again, and that doesn't seem likely.
I feel he's been corrupted by power and it's gone to his head. Look at what happened to all of the other power-hungy people like Ronnie, Jessie, and Chima. Every damn one of them is gone now, and Jeff will probably go next week unless he or Jordan wins the veto or unless Jordan wins HOH.
I hate to say it, but I believe Russell will be going this week. Kevin's with Natalie, and Jordan has made it clear she wants Russell gone. Personally, I'd like to see Russell stay and go after Jeff, but I don't think that will be happening. Although I do have to agree with Jeff that it was bogus of Russell to vote to evict Natalie when Jeff saved him and he knew Jeff wanted Jessie gone. It did bring his loyalty into question, although I still believe this was the wrong move for Jeff to make at this time.
