Episode 6 review
Hello.
I'm sure everybody will agree that this latest episode of fantasy Knots is very exciting and has a brilliant ending but first there was the election scenes in the middle which I really enjoyed. I enjoyed reading where the Ewings and Mackenzies were helping out with the election day planning. There was a great scene involving Megan with the reporter at the polling station which was very funny. I loved how she embaressed Patrick. I love that Mack was asked to be Patrick's crime commissioner as well as this was similar to what happened when Greg was elected. The scene with Val and Megan was also beautifully written as she spoke about her love for Gary. It all felt very familiar. You could imagine Joan Van Ark speaking these lines. The ending though was very exciting. Having Ray come back from the dead is one of the moments where you are left sitting on the edge of your seat. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Great episode.

I forgot to mention the scenes with Greg and Lauren and how he ended up opening up to her. You really feel sorry for Greg.

omg omg!! OMG!!! What an ending, it's like a season finale
I was that shocked!!!! Reading those last few paragraphs, I was nervous, everything was flashing in my mind, what is Ted gonna do, what's he gonna say.........Will it all be taken away from Patrick?
Well wicked as Lil' One would say
Another blinder of an episode. I loved how Val tried to reason with Megan over loving Greg. I'm glad this has been brought up, I was thinking a few episodes back at how I had hoped there still may be a chance with Greg & Megan, assuming he comes out of this alive and a free man that is. I just have that feeling (ya know, like Val has sometimes) that Greg & Megan are made for each other.
Greg is such an amazing character and to see him open up with Lauren was just what the doctor ordered. I've always wanted to get into Greg's head and understand how he feels towards Meg and many other things in his life, something Knots didn't really cover this for me. So to see him speak of her like he did, just makes me real happy, and I hope there is more to come
Thank you Knots man for another brilliant masterpiece, just where do you get your energy from eh ?

This episode was so classic Knots Landing--the scene with Val and Megan, Greg very coldly withholding personal information and then dropping it all on Lauren like a bomb and then walking away--classic. (Am I reading to much into the similarity between red headed Lauren with a son named Daniel and our beloved "red" Laura, also with a son named Daniel?)
Best of all: I love the way you are setting everything up with regards to the election. Bringing in Mac and Gary, so that they will be tied in with whatever happens to Patick is brilliant. I loved when Knots would do that--set them all up and then knock them all down and see how they react. The ending is awesome--I could hear the music and see the freeze frame. I agree with Ome--this epsiode felt like a seson finale. Well done as always!

Knots Man you know how to write political speeches that's for sure. I've loved all of the ones Patrick delivers and I can say confidently (as a keen lover of politics) these rank up there with some of the best political speeches heard in modern times. It really feels like an election taking place here and I agree with the others. I am enjoying all the political material immensely. I also agree with the remarks made by Jason 73 on how tying Gary & Mack into the storyline is a masterstroke. It gives two tired old characters some really decent material. I know Gary was and still is involved with the Betsy/baby arc however I feel this is more a storyline for Val to get her teeth into. You should leave Val (and maybe Karen) to share scenes in the Betsy storyline and keep the men involved with Patrick's storyline.
Jason, I have also spotted the similarities between Lauren and Laura. The red hair. The dry humour and now the son called Daniel. What is next? Will Greg "fall" for Lauren? Will she too slip out his life like Laura did? I can't wait to see what happens.
Finally there's the ending and what a terrific ending it was. I agree with Ome's comments about it feeling like a season finale. It's one of those classic Knots moments where you wonder how on earth Patrick will get himself out of this mess. Again, I can't wait.
In all the years I've followed this webseries, I have to say this is the very best it's been and once again, well done for that

Great episode. I saw it on Thursday night but I was just in from work and it was quite late so the review didn't get posted by me.
Loved the scenes with Greg and Lauren. And I also noticed she had similarities to Laura. I can see a big relationship forming there... maybe this time things will finally turn out better for Greg... but who knows. And when will he find out about his 3rd daughter i.e. Rachel? Or will he ever find out?
As for Betsy, I have a feeling she may run off to stay with Olivia or something along these lines. Possibly even rejecting the baby once she has it... again I'm looking forward to seeing what develops here.
OMG Ray is alive!!!

Thank you ladies and gentlemen for the kind comments about last week's episode. Glad to see the current crop of stories are going down well. I must say that all along, I've been worried about the first half dozen episodes of this season as the main core stories this year properly start within the next two episodes so to have seen the first 6 episodes being so well received has been delightful.
If you've liked what we've served up during the first 6 weeks, then you're going to enjoy the remainder of this season very much

Well done Knots Man. I'm thouroughly enjoying this season so far. Proper Knots standard entertainment. I like the way you've taken Abby away from the cul de sac and given her a storyline involving the Fairgates, it's an interesting change for the character. This season seems to have the drama of Knots classic years mixed in with the character driven stuff that was so important to the early years. Keep it up!

Again for the second time in this thread, thank you for all the feedback and I'm glad to see this series is proving fairly popular.
Initially I had my doubts with the first half of this season as the drama really doesn't begin until the second half however so far it has received really good feedback so I'm confident if you guys have enjoyed the first half the way you say you have then you'll really enjoy the installments that lie ahead in the forthcoming weeks
