People... a frankly shocking and offensive book has hit the shelves.

Let's try KNOT to put out death threats to the author

Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine is the second novel from Chicago writer Ben Tanzer. His debut novel, Lucky Man, was published by Manx Media in March of 2007. Since the books release, Tanzer has become known for his inventive marketing and networking skills as well as his well-written debut. He blogs at This Blog Will Change Your Life, which is the centerpiece of his vast, albeit faux, media empire, and in March of 2008, he launched his own journal, This Zine Will Change Your Life, which combines literature with music and street art.

About the book:
Most Likely You Go Your Way and I'll Go Mine takes place in an early nineties New York City and follows the romance between Jen and Geoff the novel's two main characters. It is a story about fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, the value of friends, the reason its best to go out for coffee on first dates and what exactly defines being on the rebound. The characters riff on their favorite books, channel Yoda and Bob Dylan, deal with siblings and try to make sense of a world that shouldn't be as confusing as it seems to be. They also seek greater self-awareness and debate why Dallas will always be superior to Knots Landing, even as they find love, lose it and find it again.

I'm going to buy this book and check my facts first before I contact Barak Obama about it , he'll ban it for sure , especially when season 2 comes out on DVD

I think buying a copy of the book is a great idea and leading efforts to have it banned even better. Actually if you can try to have it banned and then but multiple copies that would rock. And did I mention that the Orange Alert Press the publisher of the book is currently offering signed copies, free shipping and other bonus goodies right now? Its true and you can order it right from their blog which I apparently am not allowed to include here.

Yes , but it's far too fantastical to have any credibility. I think he wants to be banned and cause controversy otherwise why write such provocative and blasphemous things. I am offended and intend to contact the publisher ..although I'm sure I'll have to get in line ...

I am certainly going to buy the book and I encourage everyone else too. The fact that 2 characters discuss Knots and Dallas together is good and perhaps ....I hope... the characters are so annoying that I would expect them to say Dallas is superior to Knots.

I would like a site interview with this author and let's see what he has to say . Most likely he'll have his say and we'll have ours , however .... they must understand we are knot amused .

But then, since it's a novel, is the character espousing the "superiority" of DALLAS over KNOTS mentally unstable? Overty psychotic? If so, that could account for the perspective.

Fine, I will KNOT engage in further PR despite my publisher's endless prodding to that affect. As far as Geoff being mentally unstable, I prefer passionate, deluded by your standards certainly, maybe, but mainly passionate, something I know all of you can appreciate. I would add though, that Jen his love interest is equally passionate about Knots, so really everyone wins, right?
