Miley Cyrus has been caught up in yet another photo scandal after an internet hacker accessed her phone’s memory and found a series of saucy snaps.

The new pictures allegedly show the singer posing seductively in the shower with only a wet t-shirt covering her modesty, as well as a photo of her showing off her stomach in a skimpy top.

The snaps were reportedly downloaded from the star’s personal picture phone memory by a hacker calling himself the Digital Gangster.

According to sources, the hacker is shopping the snaps around to several publications in the hope of landing a big paycheck.

And Digital Gangster claims to have a whole host of raunchy snaps he has found on the 15-year-old’s phone.

Cyrus has been involved in several photo scandals this year, including her highly controversial Vanity Fair cover shoot in May, in which she is shown posing with a satin sheet.

I'm not sure it's normal to habitually take pictures of yourself in suggestive situations when you're 15. One or two? Sure. Vanessa Hudgins had the one set of pictures, everyone moved on. This is a new thing every month, and she's an icon to tens of millions of young girls worldwide... meanwhile her father can't stop trying to be the redneck Ryan Seacrest long enough to do anything.

What disturbes me the most is who the hell would want to look at half-naked pictures of a 15 year-oil girl? Yuck...

i have worse pictures than these, and those are prob getting sold. I saw alot of juicy emails, but I never thought of saving them.. now I kick myself for not.. there where so many juicy emails that I read... ones with her talking to nick about the night they fucked, etc.

She's at that age. 15 going on 25 -- not 15 going on 9. She's a young woman, there were some rated PG-13 pictures taken of her. She's getting older, and let's face it, she's a pretty hot 15-year-old, and she's doing what a lot of girls her age are doing (and who knows what she's really been up to?).

The big 'fear' with Miley is that 5 years from now she'll be another Britney, Lindsey, Paris, Winehouse. Hopefully she's smarter and has more self-control than that. But she's not going to be a true role model for the 'kiddies' for much longer -- I'm sure she doesn't want to be 20 and still performing concerts for 9-year-olds.

These pictures are telling in the sense that she is only 15 and engaging in this type of behaviour. She obviously isn't the squeakiy clean person her character Hanna Montana is. Oh well......another child star for you....

I think with Miley, the thing is, is that the pictures (at least the ones I've seen) are relatively tame. She's not nude, they're somewhat suggestive (one of the most controversial photos was her in a somewhat affectionate pose with her daddy) -- a side view of a wet t-shirt, implied nudity, nothing too shocking really.

The big hubbub over these photos is that she is now the new BIG THING. And because of her squeaky clean image, there's been this unspoken question of 'When will Miley crack? When will she come stumbling drunk out of some club? When will she elope with a junkie? When will she spread her legs and flash the camera? How long before she's in rehab?'

Miley has been successfully playing up the 'role model for the youth' image for a few years now. But she's not a child anymore. She's a young woman, and these slightly risque photos are the types of things that young women do. She's growing up, and the Romper Room crowd will soon have to find someone else to entertain them.

Miley seems (at least from what she's said in interviews, but she probably knows exactly what to say) smarter than the small army of 20-something female celebrities who are hip-deep in DUIs, embarassing relationships, dysfunctional family situations, ill-advised driving decisions, raging drug problems, bad parenting, you name it. But as she gets older, she'll have more freedoms, and at some point will move away from Ma and Pa. And then we'll see how strong of a person she really is. She's only getting older now, not younger.

It may have been a dumb move.. but most teenagers do something stupid at some point.. and lots of teenage girls are vain little posers..
