Fiz does seem awfully together for someone whose husband has just been found to be an even bigger nutter than she thought....

I wish someone took the hammer so it made contact with Beckys head!
Where is John Stape when you need him!!??
so OTT tonight - I actually kept flicking over to watch the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan on C4 (so harrowing and well done!)

What ever happened to Corrie's true strengths of being rooted in reality?
Great to see the end of John Stape.

THREE CHARACTERS should have made their exit tonight - StupidStape, Steve McD and Becky.
Sadly, it looks as if NONE of them are gone for definite.
P!ss poor Corrie decisions and hammy scriptwriting, as usual then.

I was disappointed when I first read Craig Gazey was leaving the street, then over the last six months I've found him to be somewhat boring. Of course that's because they stuck him with Tina and then later Xin.
It wasn't until his last episode that I remember the Graeme I did love, there were snippets of the old days with him David and Gail. It's a shame it came down to this last story-line because he's a great actor and there was so much more they could have done with the character.

It was oddly very moving to see him hug David (and not Tina - oh what a tangled web those three have weaved eh???) as he left the Rovers. Remember it was thanks to David being banged up that we first got to see Graeme...the slightly nutty cell mate who ended up on the street - totally against all expectation (see how surprised David was when he turned up out of the blue when he got out???).
The two were best mates despite everything that happened, the circle turned full and we got the rather affecting sight of the two of them bidding each other farewell..... I mean I never thought I would ever find anything involving David Platt in the slightest bit emotional or touching, but there it was. Very strange eh?
I will miss mad old Graeme, he was truly unique. I guess he didn't want to outstay his welcome and become a complete bore (yes Norris, I'm talking about you)....

I agree - and how did he ever end up with Xin with the personaility of a piece of wood (apologies to trees, I might be doing them an injustice!!) like you would dump the delectable Tina for her
I loved early Graeme on Corrie and his scenes with both David and Squeaky Ashley in the butchers shop (had almost forgotten him and Screechy!! how time flies!!)
I wish him well and Im sure he will go on to bigger and better things, he is a good actor with great timing
I will miss him!!

Yes, I found myself thinking I was going to miss him and despite all that's gone on, I'm happy with his exit, they kinda went back to when Graeme was so much fun.

Huh! I'd totally forgotten Ashley until the other night. As annoying as Ashley was I did enjoy his scenes with Graeme in the Butchers. Remember the time Ashley thought Fred was talking to him through Graeme ? Those were the days....

I too loved Graeme's early scenes with David and Ashley. Graeme the Fire-Starter wasn't he, that's what we learned he was inside the Young Offenders Institute for, sharing the cell with David. I thought he was funny also when he along with David trashed and set fire to the Windass's new kitchen.
Craig Gazey has made sure that Graeme has gone out on a high anyway. Good look to him and his future career.

I find characters like Dev and Sean an advantage in my viewing schedule.
The more screen time they have the more I forward on their scenes, allowing my more time to watch some of my other favourite shows.
