Al of a sudden, Sue Ellen feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns to see a tall leggy redhead who bears a striking resemblane to Ginger on 'Gilligans Island'. "Wow, I'm so lucky I caught you. I need these papers mailed today, or JR will have my head" Julie laughs, as she hands a surprised Sue Ellen a stack of envelopes and hustles off.

Sue Ellen is torn between getting the redhead in trouble, and delivering the letters to please JR, but finally she decides to throw all the letters into a dumpster and goes home to change her stalking outfit. Meanwhile, at The Hot Biscuit, Cliff takes a load of trash out and notices some important-looking, unopened envelopes in the dumpster...he picks one up, sees the return address is Ewing Oil, opens it and his eyes grow huge as he reads that...

JR Ewing has not really graduated from High School! He was 10 credits short and bribed the principal to let him graduate with his class. After the graduation ceremony he was approached by the head of the School Board about his deception. In order to continue the farce, he is now being blackmailed by School Board President, Mrs Sam Culver, who has been demanding afternoon trysts with JR in order to keep his secret!
Meanwhile, Sue Ellen has an attack of conscious about the letters and quickly changes into her next disquise and heads back to The Hot Biscuit. Just as she is bending over the dumpster in her nurse's uniform, hat and white stockings, Cliff sees her from behind and his eyes bug out of his head!

That is not the only thing that bugs out as Cliff approaches the "nurse" and pulled her out of the dumpter "Excuse me, miss, did you lose something?" he asks, then he stops in surpise "Sue Ellen Sheperd? Is that you? Gee whiz, I haven't seen you since senior prom! How have you been? Wow - are you a nurse now?" Sue Ellen fibs and says she enrolled in an advanced nursing program and had graduated early...Cliff says he is just getting off work and offers to drive her back to the hospital, she can't think of an excuse fast enough, so she gets into Cliff's crappy car and he takes her to Dallas Memorial.

Sue Ellen walks in the front door waving goodbye to Cliff...as soon as he drives away she gets ready to leave when suddenly a doctor grabs here "Thank God, nurse! We are short-handed today and I need someone to assist with emergency surgery!" and he drags her into an operating room. Meanwhile, out in the oil fields JR is having trouble sniffing out oil like his old man, and has so far succeeded in drilling into a garbage pit, a sacred Native American burial ground, and a community of prairie dogs, but has not found any oil.

Desperate to find oil, JR hatches a plot to find some help. In moments, he is headed to his car, disguised in a long beard and mustache, Ray's cow pie smeared boots, dirty jeans and worn plaid button down. Climbing into the old pick up used for round-ups, he heads on out to Braddock.

JR enlists the help of Willard "Digger" Barnes who immediately sniffs out a big oil strike...as soon as JR hits oil, he clobbers Digger over the head, binds & gags him, stuffs him in a trunk and throws him in the baggage compartment of a Greyhound bus bound for the east coast. After a few days, Aunt Maggie decides Digger has abandoned Pammy and Clifford for good, and sits them down to tell them the bad news that BOTH parents have now ditched them.

Meanwhile, JR invites Louella over to join him for an impromptu session of canoodling; involving wallowing in the residual oil left on the ground after the strike, a weedeater and a jar of Miss Ellie's Raspberry preserves.

Pam tries everything within her power to restrain Cliff from running out the door as he pushes her away and angrily grabs the keys to Aunt Maggie's station wagon. Cliff rushes outside eaving Pam wailing aloud with a glass shattering screech as she cries, "Noooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Pam calls Southfork to warn Bobby about Cliff's plans but instead gets what she thinks is a sympathetic Sue Ellen on the phone and reveals her brother's plans. Sue Ellen then believing this news will put her in JR's good graces and back into his arms gives him the info. JR sets his goons out to find and "handle" Cliff Barnes.
"Well were the bars closed or were you just eighty-sixed?"
