    Morning all.

Thanks for the heads up about Housewives, Kev. So is it no longer on E4 on Sundays? I daren't Google - not with my spoiler history. Damn!! Why do they do this?

Loving episode six. "Wow'zza" really made me laugh. I enjoyed the cap of Abby peeking through the porthole. And what a dramatic episode it was too.

Hope you all have a great start to the weekend. We went out with some friends last night and had a really good time. My ears are ringing this morning though.

    Good Morning, Sir

Yes, DHW has been moved to 11.25pm on Wednesdays... Not sure if that's the E4 showing, now that you mention it..? We'd been watching it on Tuesday nights, you see. Luckily it recorded on Skyplus, automatically so we didn't miss it. (Episode 17)

Such a sad episode but very well done... I like when they do all those flashbacks.

Oh, "Phoenix Droppings" has become another rambler. I imagine it will be 10 episodes long. Please, stay tuned...

Glad you had a good night out, Sir I'm planning on tackling the garden later this morning.

    Have a fab weekend

    K.

    Afternoon guys

Love episode 6 Mister Mac, Val's mirror scenes were brilliant along with her lines. Nice touch with the crash at the end. Soap Chat... We have another masterpiece on our hands

I can finally post that the rain has stopped and we have dry land once again, not all is well though it's bloody cold outside.

We have nothing planned for the BH weekend, other than a small wedding to attend at 4pm. I guess that's quite big, however it's a very small gathering from my Dad's side of the tree. It's a celebratory Ceilidh which I have no clue what that means... Although a quick look on Google and it reveals this.....is a traditional Gaelic social gathering, which usually involves playing Gaelic folk music and dancing

I shall find myself a quiet corner and a tuffet to sit on and eat my curds and whey...

    Morning everybody!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Lucky me--I seem to have come down with a bit of the flu, so I am spending the day on the sofa.

Ooh - that sounds very interesting Ome. I'd never heard of a Ceilidh before. How was it?

Sorry to hear you're not well, Jason. A day on the sofa is just what the doctor ordered. And perhaps a chance to catch up on a good book?

Fantastic Kev. I have to say the pace feels like Negotiations standards. There's a lot of action going on here.

Fab to see the return of Paige (like KL4ever, I loved the Paige Scale). For a moment, I feared that the disembodied voice calling "Ahoy there" was Charles Scott. It seems like the sort of thing he'd say (whether he's at sea or not...).

Great to see Viagara Val in action once more. Poor Ben.

The sun is shining here Rose. Though after my four hours' sleep Friday night, I got 12 hours last night, and slept until after eleven.

    Morning all

Jason, take it easy, in fact lie down and catch up with all the wonderful shows you watch, I'm sure that's a great tonic in these difficult times

Kev, another brilliant strip, I laughed at Hank's comment 'If I had a dime for each time I put this broad in the back of here' Also it was brilliant to see Paige turn up and give Abby a score of four...

Hi Rose, hope you have a lovely weekend too. The sun is out here and the skies are looking very bright, here's hoping this continues into the week.

Kev--I'm finally all caught up on Phoenix Droppings. It's fantastic. Paige showing up is a GREAT twist!

I'm feeling quite a bit better today. I spent my sick day watching the show Smash from the beginning. I had intended to watch it when it first came out, but I never got around to it. I have about three episodes left before I am all caught up. It's really, really excellent. I love it. It's like a grown up Glee--lots of singing, lots of drama. The two actresses that it focuses on--Megan Hilty and Catherine McPhee have incredible voices. Anjelica Houston, Debra Messing, Jack Davenport and the rest of the cast are wonderful. Uma Thurman has just shown up. All the behind the scenes stuff about how a Broadway show is created, written and put together is fascinating. I'd highly recommend it.

Great to see that you are okay and tuning in to some entertaining TV Are you feeling any better now ?

I think I've seen a trailer for that show "Smash"..? I must have a search and find out when it is on over here... A grown-up 'Glee' sounds like a great synopsis for a show Love Debra Messing..

Glad to hear you are enjoying "Phoenix Droppings" Otherwise, why would I bother...?

I'm sending you 'Get Well Soon' vibes form across the waves.....

    Here they are ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A piece of wreckage lodged in Karen's nostril--that gave me a huge laugh. Thanks Kev.

And thanks for the "Get well soon" vibes. I'm sure they are working. I'm feeling better. I can't quite seem to shake this virus entirely, but I definitely feel better today than I have for the past 2 or 3 days.

Do check out Smash if you get a chance. I think you will really like it. This morning, I finished that last of the 13 episodes that have aired so far--lots of twists and turns. I can't wait for the next episode. Season finales galore on the horizon--Revenge, Smash, The Vampire Diaries.

    Angel of California

Yesterday we spent the whole day in the garden, weeding and sorting out some bedding plants etc... Today, we went to a local Garden Centre and picked up some new plants. His Nibbs is in Greenhouse-Goddess mode and is currently cultivating some vegetables for planting.

I'm glad to hear you are on the mend...

We watched "Super 8" last night. One of the latest Steven Spielberg extravaganzas. I enjoyed it . Most entertaining.

    How's work, J. ?

    LOL @ "Greenhouse Goddess mode"

I loved Super 8. I thought it was really good. I'm a fan of Kyle Chandler.

Work is good. We are winding down now. State testing is over with and there are only three weeks of school left. This year has gone by fast.

    Have a great week everyone.
Hope your feeling better Jason. I like Smash too Jason, what do you think of Uma Thurman on it? I actually think she is doing a great job. Did you see this week's Office? I wonder what is going to happen next, I loved Andy in this weeks episode.

Love all the comic strips Kevmac, great job.

Game of Thrones was great today lot of action. Not sure if you have seen it yet Ome.

    Take care

Thanks for another cracking installment Mister, I love Val's look, very Glenn Close of 'Fatal Attraction'. Also the thought of Olivia floating around is hilarious. I'm looking forward to what Paige might be up to.

Jessie 'Game of Thrones' was on this evening, but we didn't get time to watch, will be catching up tomorrow.

As a big fan of JJ Abrams I was really looking forward to 'Super 8' but it felt a little too much like they were trying to create another E.T. I did enjoy the film, but nowhere near as good as I was hoping for.

We watched 'The Woman in Black' this evening, wasn't as impressed as I thought I would have been. I thought the story lacked any kind of excitement and something you might see in an episode of 'Supernatural'
