Morning everybody!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Lucky me--I seem to have come down with a bit of the flu, so I am spending the day on the sofa.

I shall find myself a quiet corner and a tuffet to sit on and eat my curds and whey...
Ooh - that sounds very interesting Ome. I'd never heard of a Ceilidh before. How was it?

Sorry to hear you're not well, Jason. A day on the sofa is just what the doctor ordered. And perhaps a chance to catch up on a good book?

Fantastic Kev. I have to say the pace feels like Negotiations standards. There's a lot of action going on here.
Fab to see the return of Paige (like KL4ever, I loved the Paige Scale). For a moment, I feared that the disembodied voice calling "Ahoy there" was Charles Scott. It seems like the sort of thing he'd say (whether he's at sea or not...).
Great to see Viagara Val in action once more. Poor Ben.

Have a lovely weekend everyone xx People in the UK have a great bank holiday weekend x
The sun is shining here Rose. Though after my four hours' sleep Friday night, I got 12 hours last night, and slept until after eleven.

Kev--I'm finally all caught up on Phoenix Droppings. It's fantastic. Paige showing up is a GREAT twist!
I'm feeling quite a bit better today. I spent my sick day watching the show Smash from the beginning. I had intended to watch it when it first came out, but I never got around to it. I have about three episodes left before I am all caught up. It's really, really excellent. I love it. It's like a grown up Glee--lots of singing, lots of drama. The two actresses that it focuses on--Megan Hilty and Catherine McPhee have incredible voices. Anjelica Houston, Debra Messing, Jack Davenport and the rest of the cast are wonderful. Uma Thurman has just shown up. All the behind the scenes stuff about how a Broadway show is created, written and put together is fascinating. I'd highly recommend it.

I think I've seen a trailer for that show "Smash"..? I must have a search and find out when it is on over here...

A grown-up 'Glee' sounds like a great synopsis for a show

Love Debra Messing..
Glad to hear you are enjoying "Phoenix Droppings"

Otherwise, why would I bother...?
I'm sending you 'Get Well Soon' vibes form across the waves.....
Here they are

A piece of wreckage lodged in Karen's nostril--that gave me a huge laugh. Thanks Kev.
And thanks for the "Get well soon" vibes. I'm sure they are working. I'm feeling better. I can't quite seem to shake this virus entirely, but I definitely feel better today than I have for the past 2 or 3 days.
Do check out Smash if you get a chance. I think you will really like it. This morning, I finished that last of the 13 episodes that have aired so far--lots of twists and turns. I can't wait for the next episode. Season finales galore on the horizon--Revenge, Smash, The Vampire Diaries.

I'm glad to hear you are on the mend...
We watched "Super 8" last night. One of the latest Steven Spielberg extravaganzas. I enjoyed it . Most entertaining.
How's work, J. ?
K.

LOL @ "Greenhouse Goddess mode"
I loved Super 8. I thought it was really good. I'm a fan of Kyle Chandler.
Work is good. We are winding down now. State testing is over with and there are only three weeks of school left. This year has gone by fast.

Have a great week everyone.
Hope your feeling better Jason. I like Smash too Jason, what do you think of Uma Thurman on it? I actually think she is doing a great job. Did you see this week's Office? I wonder what is going to happen next, I loved Andy in this weeks episode.
Love all the comic strips Kevmac, great job.
Game of Thrones was great today lot of action. Not sure if you have seen it yet Ome.
Take care
Jessie

Thanks for another cracking installment Mister, I love Val's look, very Glenn Close of 'Fatal Attraction'. Also the thought of Olivia floating around is hilarious. I'm looking forward to what Paige might be up to.
Jessie 'Game of Thrones' was on this evening, but we didn't get time to watch, will be catching up tomorrow.
As a big fan of JJ Abrams I was really looking forward to 'Super 8' but it felt a little too much like they were trying to create another E.T. I did enjoy the film, but nowhere near as good as I was hoping for.
We watched 'The Woman in Black' this evening, wasn't as impressed as I thought I would have been. I thought the story lacked any kind of excitement and something you might see in an episode of 'Supernatural'
