Season 6: The debut of Joshua, Lisa Hartman is a series regular and the twins arrive!

Just watched the s6 premiere, it was awesomely brilliant! Following on from s5, Joan Van Ark was wonderfully dramatic in the episode where Gary was 'dead' and her acting was phenomenal, her shrieking was so sad to watch as Gary was 'dead' and she goes limp in Mack's arms. Then when she saw Gary alive - and just collapses in his arms, Ted and Joan handled that very well together. Karen was SHOT!!!!!! Mack beginning to sob as he held her and Diana and him FINALLY made-up. Diana looks much better this season, her long red curly hair suits her better than that awful short blonde haircut she has previously throughout the 5th season. She looks a little like Jamie Rose from FC with her hair like it is this season too! Anyone else think that? I think it's better having Claudia Lonow listed as a co-star with Steve Shaw and Pat Petersen, instead of a series regular. She really doesn't have a storyline now, she's just one of 'the kids' again now that Chip/Tony is gone. Also, has anyone seen Lilimae? She hasn't appeared in the last 3 or 4 shows. It also seems Knots just gets better as it goes on.

I think I just sat stunned literally catching my breath after the season 5 finale. Any one of those last four could have been a cliffhanger but that last one ...

Ha! Petey Hollister, that was funny. As for back on topic: I think Joshua is wayyyyyy too religious, Cathy's a bit slutty and Lilimae is Joshua's mother - meaning: Val and Joshua are SIBLINGS!!!!! OMG! Too entertaining. One thing I hate is the fact that when the first episode of the season began, Donna Mills' hair was suddenly cut short!!!!! This is a typical soap thing to do.

Yes, he´s a very shy young man from the country. His father was a very dictatorial preacher, who told his son only hard work and esteeming God´s autority will keep him away from the devil... That´s why he is so religious.

And for Cathy: "slutty"? In the beginning of Season 6? I can´t remind of that...

Remember how she gets changed in front of Joshua and he asks her if she wants he to leave and she says 'No, that's okay'. He is very, very shy. Alec plays the character very well indeed.

Not sure what to make of the show now, it is a strange enough season. I don't like Jonathan J. Rush one bit.

season 6 is very interesting. It goes through the same process of Dallas of season 6. How do you keep the momenutum after such a highly climatic season 5.

The first few episodes are sorta slow to watch, it's as if characters are trying to recuperate from the mess of season 5 and are searching themselves. Same like Dallas season 6. I use to hate the beginning of season 6, but now I love it. Everything seems slow but the writers are really clever of trying to tame down everything in the first couples of episodes as they are the bridge between Wolfbridge and Val's babies.

Everyone is trying to find itself. I do love the background colors of the season only in the first 6 or 7 episode, it's very greyish. I think everything builds up to episode 108 when Val gives birth to the babies

OMG! I watched the birth of the twins last night, it looked sooooo painful, JVA's screams during the birthing process were so realisitc. The whole birth just looked very uncomfortable. Hat's off to Joan, she acted brilliantly during that scene. The series has picked up again now.

Well, poor, poor Val. First she found out Gary was cheating on her, the she got pregnant with his babies, then he was 'dead', the he returned, then Val had her babies, then they were stolen, then Val began to lose it, now Val HAS lost it, then she ran away from Knots Landing, the she became a bit 'white-trash-ish', now she has become 'goody two-shoes' Valene again, then it seemed she was on the road to recovery, but just at that moment, viewers were dashed from having everything functioning perfectly to Val re-naming herself as Verna Ellers and moving 'home' to Tennessee. However, I LOVE the show now more than ever!

Watched two great episodes last night, Val met some guy named Parker and got herself an apartment, but Abby's detective is fast on her tail!

I am very glad the series has gotten back to it's original brillaint storylines. I hope this last's for a while. It is a such a shame when good and decent shows like Knots fall.

Well said! The dance scene was very tear jerking. I felt truly bad for Val, she wanted to be with Gary sooo much. But Parker took the nice scene away instantly by barging thru that door. Damn him! I hate Parker! Who else does?

Fast approaching: the finale of season 6! The only time the show had a no.1 audience rating! Only 5 more shows left! This season was remarkable one, funking theme variation, spicy new characters that were ALWAYS intriguing and the best acting yet from Miss Joan Van Ark. Season 7, here I come! Am hoping to start it by Jan. 1st.
