Default Ellen DeGeneres' Tearful Dog Plea

What did you all think of Ellen's crying about the dog situation? I thought it was very genuine. Others are thinking it's stupid that she's crying about a dog, but I don't think so at all. For many people, like myself, pets are part of the family, and they can't just be taken away. I know she broke the rules of the adoption agency, but shouldn't they do something where they do a background check on the new family and monitor them so they can keep the dog? That's better than the alternative of the dog having no home.

ellen was genuine, imo. and each time i've seen it, i do get a bit choked up. but one of her assistant's threw her hollywood muscle around by calling mutts for moms and essentially threatening the agency based on the power of ellen.

ellen needs to get new assistant's. and ellen's trophy wife, portia, was the one who was told about not giving the dog aay, etc. so it seems ellen didn't even really kno about the rules, but obviously ignorance is no defense. but portia knew. this is another example of why people shouldn't marry for looks.

here's what was utterly unnecessary: the agency showed up to the new family's home with a police escort!

and then they found a new home for the dog which is completely spiteful. seems like they felt disrespected b/c their "rules" weren't followed and are putting their ego in front of reason. like so many people.

i'd never use this agency in the future so i think that ultimately beyond the agency just being big meanys, it was just bad business for mutts and moms.

She broke the rules, but she also seems to have found a good home for a dog that she couldn't keep. I think it's overkill to remove the dog.

I found it to be genuine. I feel sad for her and hope she gets the dog back.
