New Beginnings

Chapter 1

Pamela was gathered at the tree house along with the rest of the Ewing’s to mourn Bobby’s death. Bobby had passed away just a couple weeks ago after getting run over by Pam’s evil half-sister Katherine. Pamela sat there thinking about how happy they were the night before the accident. They talked all night long about getting back together and finally being happy once again.
Pam’s thoughts were interrupted by her son Christopher who said “Mama everyone is heading back to Southfork for a little reception, shouldn’t we be heading there too?”
Pam looked at her son and said “Of course, come on sweetheart.”
“Ok Mama” He said while looking at his daddy’s coffin.
Pam got up from her chair and started to head to the house with Christopher but then told him she left something at the tree house, so she told him to go on ahead & she would catch up.
Christopher replied “Ok Mama” and kept walking towards the main house.
Pam walked back to the tree house and looked at Bobby’s coffin. She looked at his face for a minute and started to cry uncontrollably.
She looked down at Bobby’s face and said “Why did you push me out of the way, she was supposed to run over me not you?” She also asked herself “why did Katherine have to come between us once again?”
Pam then stroked Bobby’s hair saying “I shall always love you and I may never be able to love another man again!”
Pam got to Southfork about an hour later she took her time walking there because she needed time to recompose herself for Christopher. He couldn’t see his mama this way; she had to be strong for the both of them. She wasn’t even really sure whether Christopher completely understood or not that his father was never coming back.
When she finally got to Southfork she was pretty tired so she decided she would get Christopher & go home. Pam walked into the house & asked Theresa to get Christopher. Miss Ellie saw Pam and asked “How are you holding up Pam”
“I’m doing as good as to be expected Miss Ellie” she replied
“Let me know if you or Christopher needs anything “Miss Ellie said
“I will “Pam told Miss Ellie as Christopher walked down the stairs. Christopher told Miss Ellie goodbye & left with his mother. Pam & Christopher got into her car as they buckled up Christopher looked at his mama & asked “Mama, can you tell me about Daddy?”

Chapter 2

Pam looked over at her son and asked him “What do you want to know about your daddy?” Christopher told her he wanted to know his favorite things to do, & what he was like. Pam told Christopher she would tell him all that stuff in the morning after they had both gotten a good night’s sleep. “Ok mamma” Christopher replied.
The drive back to the house took about a half an hour from Southfork. Christopher was fast asleep by the time Pam finally pulled into the driveway.
Pam turned the car off then she undid Christopher’s seatbelt & carried him upstairs to his bedroom.
She got Christopher into a pair of his pajamas & slowly placed him into his bed. She started to pull up the covers when Christopher woke up for a few minutes to tell her that he loved her & that he couldn’t wait to hear more about his daddy tomorrow. Pam smiled at her son kissed his forehead & said “Good night sweetheart.”
“Good night mamma” Christopher replied & then went right back to sleep.
Pam walked out of her son’s room closing the door behind her, then heading to her room. She got herself ready for bed & looked over at her nightstand where she had a picture of Bobby & her together with Christopher on the ranch.
She picked up the photograph and sat on her bed slowly running her fingers along the part where Bobby was standing. She looked at him longingly wishing he was there with her & their son. Pam held the picture close to her heart and started sobbing.
She couldn’t help but think that Bobby was never going to see his son grow up and turn into a fine young gentleman all because of her witch of a sister Katherine. Pam was getting angrier by the second by thinking about but decided to get some sleep. She placed the picture of Bobby on the side of the bed where he used to sleep & got under the covers slowly starting to drift off.
Pam was dreaming of the day when the picture was taken. It was during the time her and Bobby were divorced but she had agreed to spend the day at Southfork with Christopher and Bobby so she could spend time with them.
They roamed the grounds looking at the beautiful view and they also took Christopher horseback riding which he fell in love with right away. He loved riding with his daddy. They took they picture not too long after they had been riding across the lands.
Pam was focusing on Bobby’s smiling face on that day when all of a sudden that part of the dream got really cloudy.
She was now at her house walking Bobby out to his car. She had just kissed him and he was now walking towards his car watching her wave, when he saw a mysterious red car barreling towards Pam’s way. Bobby yelled “PAM!!!” and ran as fast as he could to push her out of the way, then getting run over by the car landing on the driveway.
Pam looked over at Bobby screaming ran over to his body cradling crying “NO PLEASE, BOBBY!!!” It was at that moment Pam woke up in a cold sweat!!! She calmed herself down after a few minutes was about ready to go back to sleep, but then she heard crying coming from Christopher’s Room.

Chapter 3

Pam got up from her bed put on her robe and ran to Christopher’s room to see what was wrong. Pam saw Christopher sitting up in his bed shaking back and forth crying. She went over to his bed sat down and asked him what was wrong.
Christopher looked up at his mommy and said I saw Jenna in my room. Pam asked Christopher if she said anything. Christopher told his mom that Jenna said “Your daddy is still alive and you are never going to see him again, and if you tell anyone that I was in here you’ll be sorry!!!”
Christopher still crying grabbed Pam really tight. Pam sat there rocking him back and forth saying “it’s alright sweetheart it was just a bad dream. He said “no she was really in here.” Pam got up from Christopher’s bed and searched all around his room finding nothing.
She sat back on the bed then told him “see it was just a bad dream, no one is in here, now you go back to sleep.”
“Ok mamma” Christopher said resting his head on his pillow. It only took him a couple minutes and then he was out like a light again. Pam kissed Christopher’s forehead and walked back into her bedroom.
She took her robe off and got back into bed falling asleep rather quickly herself.
The next morning Pam decided she would take Christopher to Southfork to spend time with Miss Ellie and John Ross. She felt they both needed to get out of the house for awhile. Pam went to Christopher’s room to wake him up but he was already wide awake. Christopher looked at her saying “good morning mamma.” “Good morning sweetheart, how would you like to go see grandma at Southfork?”
Christopher got really excited jumping up and down and said “I would love to go to Southfork!” “Ok then we better get dressed.” Pam said. She went back to her room to get dressed and within about twenty minutes Christopher was at her door saying “I’m ready mamma” Pam told Christopher “well alright then let’s go”
They headed down the stairs to the car. Christopher raced his mamma to the car and then once they were both buckled up. Pam drove off and headed for Southfork.
Forty minutes later Pam pulled up into the Southfork driveway. John Ross and Miss Ellie were outside. Pam got Christopher’s seatbelt undone and then they both got out of the car.
“Good Morning Miss Ellie.” Pam said. Miss Ellie said “Good Morning Pam and how are you sweetheart.” “I’m fine grandma” Christopher told his grandma and then ran off into the house with John Ross to play.
Pam sat down in one of the lounge chairs. Miss Ellie asked “How have you guys been.” Pam told her they were doing okay but Christopher had a bad dream last night. Miss Ellie asked “what was it about.” Pam told her it was about Jenna telling him his daddy is still alive, and that he can’t have him anymore. Miss Ellie said “what do you think it means”
“I don’t really understand it but I think it means he missed his daddy” Pam replied. Miss Ellie replied “I don’t know if he says he really says he saw Jenna maybe you should go and talk to her.” “Maybe I will” Pam replied.
Pam then headed off to the tree house to visit Bobby’s grave.
