Update



After Alex left things got back to normal very quickly. Well almost everything, Sue Ellen always seemed to be on guard. After all that she had been through over the last 3 years she was beginning to have trouble trusting anyone that was not family. JR and the rest of the family were starting to worry about her.
Sue Ellen was now 5 months pregnant. She had not been off the ranch in nearly a month. Pamela was on her way into town when JR had stopped her and asked her to please try and get Sue Ellen to go with her, Maybe go to lunch or Shopping.
Pamela knocked on the door not really sure of what to say.
"Who is it?"
"Sue Ellen its Pam, may I come in?"
"Sure Pamela"
Pamela walked into the bedroom and saw Sue Ellen laying on the bed still in her pajamas
"Oh Sue Ellen, why are you still in bed its almost noon"
"I don’t know, JR got the children ready for school today, and I just didn’t feel like getting up"
"Well im going to go into town and do some shopping, would you like to come with me?"
Sue Ellen thought about it for a moment.
"No"
"Why not?"
"I just don’t want to ok." Sue Ellen said coldly as she got out of bed and stormed into the bathroom.
She looked in the mirror. For being 5 months pregnant she was not gaining much weight. Pamela walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it
"Sue Ellen, you really need to get out of this room."
"I know Pamela, but every time I leave this ranch something awful happens."
"That’s not true, you have just been having some bad luck."
"Bad luck! That’s what you call everything that has happened to me?"
"Sue Ellen I didn’t mean it like that"
Sue Ellen walked out of the bathroom and back to the bed sitting on the edge of it.
"I know Pam"
"Why don’t you come with me into town ....and we will do some baby shopping."
"That is a good idea, I have not bought anything yet."
"Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl? or are you going to be surprised?"
"Oh I found out yesterday when JR dragged me to the doctors."
"And!!"
"It’s a Girl." Sue Ellen said smiling for the first time sense she and Pamela had started talking.
"Oh Sue Ellen That’s wonderful, Now Elizabeth will have a little sister."
"I just hope they get along better than Kristin and I did" Sue Ellen said laughing as she got up and started to get dressed.
After Sue Ellen and Pamela were in the car Sue Ellen started to have second thoughts
"Pam..."
"Yeah?"
"I don’t think I can do this, in Fact will you please take me home now!"

"No Sue Ellen, you must get out..nothing is going to happen to you" said Pamela, turning the wheel
"Please Pam..." Sue Ellen was ready to cry
"Oh no. You can't start crying like your daughter to get out of things" Pam laughed, "Now, I'll be with you. Nothing will happen. If it helps I'll even hold your hand!"

Sue Ellen was starting to calm down. She remained silent for the rest of the ride. Pam pulled up to a baby store, and opened the door for Sue Ellen.
"After this we're getting lunch" Pam said, grabbing her hand
"I'm not hungry.."
"You're eating!! You've hardly gained any weight..if you don't come I'll phone J.R"
"Fine..."

At the store, Sue Ellen bought a few pink outfits and a beautiful picture of an angel lying in a grass of flowers.
Sue Ellen was feeling more comfortable outside, and was glad that Pam dragged her out.
The girls had lunch at Taco Bell because Sue Ellen was craving tacos.

"What other cravings have you had lately?" Pam asked
"Tacos and pizza. I actually had a craving for steak during the night. I was going to wake J.R up to barbecue me one" she laughed, "Pam, can I tell you something. I want to thank you for taking such good care of me, and my children. You're like their second mom. And I know we didn't get off to the perfect start. I think it took me about 4 years to actually trust you" she laughed and continued, "but you're such an amazing sister in law..and friend"

Pam was speechless, "Thank you Sue Ellen. You know, since I moved to Southfork I always liked you. I couldn't figure out why you were so mean to me at first. But I love you and the children. You've stuck by me during some rough times too. And I'd do the same for you"
"Now, how about we buy some more baby stuff?" Pam said, getting up from the table
"Sure...I know this great place right beside Howard's Jewels."
"Why is it you know all the places beside jewelry stores?" Pam laughed uncontrollably
"Shut up and come on" Sue Ellen playfully hit her.

Sue Ellen bought a few more outfits and a yellow hat. "That is so cute" said Pamela. The bill came to two hundred dollars.
"Don't tell J.R" Sue Ellen whispered, "He'll kill me"

Pam opened the door for Sue Ellen as the two of them stepped on the sidewalk. Just then J.R and Megan came prancing out of the jewelry store.
Pam and Sue Ellen hid between a doorway of a card shop.
"Oh J.R, that was so much fun." Megan laughed, holding onto his arm
"Well, thank you....you have great taste. Now, just don't tell my wife about this" he laughed, holding a small gold bag

Pam looked at Sue Ellen as J.R drove away in his car with Megan in the passenger seat giggling. "I hate him, Pamela" Sue Ellen said.." I knew he'd never changed. Would you drive me to Ewing Oil?"
"Why, so you can yell at him there?" Pam was scared of what her sister in law might do.
"No, I want to scratch the sh*t out of his car..." Sue Ellen started to cry, "Pamela, I have never met a man so mean and two faced as him. That's it!! When I get home I'm taking the kids and leaving...drive me home right now. It's over between us!"

The ride back to Southfork was very quiet, Pamela could tell that Sue Ellen was very angry. As soon as they pulled up at Southfork Sue Ellen raced into the house. Pamela followed after her.
"Sue Ellen, I really think that you need to talk to JR."
"Pam, Im getting my children and getting out of here, now are you going to help me or not?"
"Of course ill help you Sue Ellen, you are my friend."
"Thank you, Now please go pack up the twins things."
"Everything?"
"No just what they will need."
Sue Ellen walked into John Ross' room and packed up most of his clothes and a few of his toys. Then she had Raul start taking things to the car while she went into her bedroom and packed her stuff. After she had everything they would need She called the Fairview Hotel and reserved a room.
Sue Ellen waled outside and saw the children playing.
"John Ross, get your brother and sister and come over here." She called to them
"What is it mama?" John Ross asked
"Just get in the car sweetheart"
Sue Ellen took a hold of the twins hands and led them to the car. After she had them buckled in she turned to Pamela
" Im really going to miss you." She said as she hugged Pam close
"Im going to miss you too, Where are you going to go?"
"Ill be at the Fairview Hotel if you need or want to see me." Sue Ellen replied as she got into the car.
Sue Ellen drove away from the ranch with tears in her eyes. Leaving the life she had behind her.

2 hours later
JR arrived home with a Smile on his face. He whistled as he climbed the stairs and headed to his bedroom
"Sue Ellen im....."
He stopped talking when he noticed most of her drawers were open and empty. JR ran to the twins and John Ross' room noticing that they were the same way.
This must be a nightmare... he thought to himself as he ran back to his bedroom he searched for a note but didn’t find one. JR sat on the bed and was about to cry when there was a knock at the door. He looked up and saw Pamela standing there.
"What is it Pam?"
"I... I know where they are."
"Tell me Pamela."
"I don’t know if I should after what Sue Ellen and I saw this afternoon."
"What in the hell are you talking about?"
"Well I finally got Sue Ellen out of the house and we went baby shopping, Then we saw you and some woman coming out of a jewelry store."
"Pam this is a complete misunderstanding, Tell me where my family is so I can get them back"
Pamela could tell from the pain in JR's voice that he had to be telling the truth.
"They are at the Fairview Hotel."
As soon as JR heard where they were he ran out of the bedroom and straight to his car, speeding off towards the hotel. He just had to get them back, he could not bare to live without them.

J.R to the rescue


When J.R arrived at the Fairview Inn he went up to the desk and asked for a "Mrs. Ewing".
"I'm sorry" said the receptionist, "there's no Mrs. Ewing here"

J.R was confused, did Pam give him wrong information he thought. "Umm..is there a Sue Ellen?"

She checked her computer, "No, I'm sorry. There's no Sue Ellen either"
J.R dialed Southfork, and luckily Pam picked up.
"Hello..." Pam answered
"It's me...you said they were at the Fairview, well, I'm here and they're not here!"
"Really? Well, that's where she told me she was going...Are you at the one near the gas station?"
"What?!! What gas station?" J.R asked looking through the front windows.
"You're at the Fairview Hotel, aren't you?" Pam was getting impatient, and now she was thinking Sue Ellen lied to her
"No!..I'm at the Fairview Inn....Okay, i'm going to the other one..bye" he slammed his phone shut and ran into the parking lot and drove off into his car.

He was at the other hotel in 8 minutes. He ran up to the reception desk

"Hi, is there a Mrs. Ewing here?"
"Sir, we can't give that information away. Do you know the person's first name?" the man asked
"Sue Ellen..is there a Sue Ellen Ewing here?"
"Just hold on.." the man was not as polite or helpful as the woman at the other place. J.R was tapping his foot, and growing impatient at the slow speed of the man.
"Yes, there's a Sue Ellen here..."
"Which room?" J.R asked
"I can't tell you sir"
"Why the hell not?..I'm her husband"
"Do you have any proof?" the man had no idea who the Ewing family were

J.R opened his wallet and took out his license and pictures of the five of them
"Well, that's her...is she expecting you?" he asked rudely
"No..It's a surprise..."
"Our guests don't like to be surprised" the man laughed
"I don't give a sh*t..which room is my wife and children in?" J.R slipped him a hundred dollar bill
"Room 544 sir"

J.R ran to the elevator and took it to the fifth floor. He followed the numbers until he got to the 44th door. He pressed his ear up to the door and could hear a child sneezing. He knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" Sue Ellen asked
"It's me" J.R answered
"Go the hell away before I call security on you"
"Let me in" he knocked again
"No...J.R, leave me alone. I'm leaving you for good this time, and nothing you can say will ever change that. Good bye"

Im off to bed but i thought id be nice and post the update

JR could not believe what he was hearing and he did not intend on leaving without knowing why she was leaving him.
"Sue Ellen im not going anywhere until we talk. Now open the door."
"JR please just leave me alone, I don’t want to talk to you"
"Sue Ellen I will stand out here and knock on this door all night if I have to"
Sue Ellen knew that JR meant it and she really didn’t want to listen to him scream at her to open the door all night. So she opened the door. JR came charging in and stared at her. He had tears in his eyes.
"Why would you leave me?"
"I think you know why"
"Well from what Pamela told me"
"And what did she tell you?"
"She said that you saw me coming out of a jewelry store with Megan"
"That’s right, I saw you with your new little tramp"
Sue Ellen was now in tears. JR tried to hug her and she backed away.
"Sue Ellen you have this all wrong."
"Do I?"
"Yes, and if you will just sit down ill explain it all"
Sue Ellen sat on the sofa and waited for JR to continue.
"Well, I knew how down you had been the last few months and I wanted to cheer you up. So I Was planing on buying you something really nice. I had it narrowed down to two bracelets, I just didn’t know which one was better so I asked Megan to come and help me choose."
JR pulled a box out of her coat pocket and handed it to Sue Ellen. She opened the box and inside was a beautiful emerald and diamond bracelet.
"Oh JR its so beautiful." She looked at him and could tell that he was telling her the truth. "Im so sorry I left JR its just I saw you with her and my mind started racing."
JR pulled Sue Ellen close to him and hugged her tightly.
"Do you know what it did to me when I got home and all your stuff was gone?"
"I know it must have been awful, Im so very sorry. I just cant stand the idea of you hurting me"
"Sue Ellen, Im never going to hurt you, I was such a fool the first time we married, I love you and I wont ever hurt you like that ever again"
Sue Ellen was still in tears as JR spoke, She loved him so much and she was so happy that all of this had just been a misunderstanding.
"I love you too JR"
"Now what do you say we get everything packed back up and I take you and the children home."
"That sounds good to me." She replied smiling
