Starbuck, I think Buffy is mostly thought of as a show for teenagers and this is why no-one really paid attention.
X-Files, this was a huge hit show world wide and seen by viewers between let's say 16 and 60...and was considered to be a clever show...hence the many awards, I think.

It's the producers who decide about putting a show up for nomination. The X-Files was in its way original and popular. The producers pushed for nominations. The producers of Buffy and Angel, Gareth Davies, The Kazuis, and the others just didn't think it would work. A lot of money goes into these award shows. I don't agree with the system. It's just ironic to me how Hollywood which always seems to always hate greedy rich people are all about the cash themselves.
I am a hypocrite. I buy DVDs of TV shows because I despise commercials, some can be funny and inventive, but mostly they are just annoying. Without the commercials, no shows. However, pretty sure that Fox makes a good deal of dosh off my purchases. In the USA, Buffy and Angel retail price is 59 dollars. You can find it cheaper, no doubt, I have. But that is the "suggested" retail price. 24 goes for over 60 dollars. Star Trek TNG goes for 80 bucks! Ok, off topic once again.

I just got a call from an agency asking me if I'd like to discuss a possible job in Jan. " Sorry I'm in meetings all day today , can I call you next week ?" I lied. " Yes of course , you're obviously in demand " they said not really joking and hoping my fee would be ridiculous so they could get a huge cut .

Imagine their horror if they knew that I cannot discuss work or my career because I have been up watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer for the past 11 hours and will shortly crash out with exhaustion

I am wondering if I am supposed to be a Vampire Slayer ? Did someone forget to tell me ? I had a quick look out of my back garden last night for signs of vamps but all I saw was the christmas lights on my tree. I may have a look again tonight only this time I'm taking a stake and a dvd of the exorcist with me , that should scare them away as I'm not much good at kick boxing ...

Wow. It's so so so so so good..... Poor lovely Willow. The emotions that girl has been through I completely adore her even though she has fallen for a werewolf. Lesbianism seems a bit tame for Willow I guess she mellows as the show progresses....

I love Buffy. I love her , I love that girl , she is genius and ... i can't believe I am typing this .... Buffy is... dare I say it.... better than Angel season 2 .... Perhaps ... Buffy gets really good very quickly and Angel took a while for me , it was only in s3 that I really freaked out about it ....

God , so much to say ...... Whats My Line ?????? I had a nervous breakdown watching that it completely stressed me out ..... I'm up to Bewitched something something , Cordy ust broke up with Xander - he's a hero I love him what a fab character - and he's about to get revenge. They're all in love with each other , sub text subtext in every line it's outrageously good...

Kendra - The Other Vampire Slayer ( the beautiful black girl ... I knew we wouldn't have to wait long for the KFC brigade ) ... where is she from ? Which accent was the very good actress attempting ? Which planet was that dialect because unless I am very much mistaken her accent does not originate from Planet Earth.
