2 is good yes yes but it's ... Distant . Yes the Polskas are easily accessible and frankly you don't need sub titles , but therein is the genius , they become the hardest to care about in the whole arc which I think is great , the corner wins your heart and the show turns away from the Polaks and back to the corner , in a way the show only looks at the docks because MacNutty has a hard on for the system and wants to shaft Rawls for putting him on the water patrol , it's just outrageous , all those dead girls and no one really gives a toss .

For me Ziggy is the metaphor , that scene where he tries to go up against the corner boys and they take his jacket and car is a metaphor for the whole season .

Was there anything more heartbreaking than Wallace on that country lane desperate to get back to the corner ?

Season 3 is glorious , Afton look out for the theme of reform it's mind blowing . And look out for Spider !

I'm not much of a crier I have to say , im pretty dry most of the time, but the final sequence of SIX leaves me in pieces every single time!

The only other thing to make me cry like that is in WIRE season 4...... you've got such a huge wonderful ( and sad) journey ahead

Oh, same here! I never cry but I can't even THINK about that sequence without the tears starting to fall. I even have tears in my eyes now. Also, when I hear that song! Even my brothers who didn't cry at my grandmother's funeral cried at THAT.

Did you ever watch the commentary on that episode? I think it's classic that Billy is STILL going on about his failed relationship with Claire and Brenda finally just dies from boredom That's what they said happened in the commentary. If you look closely at his lips you can make out what he's talking about, haha.
