Sure, spelling is better. Honestly though, I dont' see the need or reason to be so negative and even hurtful. The forums should be a fun place for fans to communicate, no need for all the hostility and fighting imo.
How was it hurtful? Negative yes because they're crappy reviews attached to James' wonderful posts, but it helps one's arguments and/or reviews of a series or work if the character's names are spelled right. Repeatedly citing "Krystal" doesn't add any support. Truth hurts, but honesty is the best policy -- especially in a web forum, which you should have learned by now.
Honest maybe, but also hostile and confrontational. I think the truth can be told with a dash of kindness.
It was both honest and sincere until you went harping on it.
Maybe we should stick to talking about the show instead of fighting.
I'm not fighting with you. It's not worth it. You're just taking criticism offensively.
I suppose there could have been a nicer way of pointing out that Krystle's name was misspelled. Though I think the main beef is that somebody posted their review in James From London's thread. It's something quite revered on these forums. So it's kind of like adding on a chapter to a Dickens novel or making a tv movie sequel to Gone With The Wind.
My apologies, I thought it was a general "rewatching Season X" thread for everyone, with James of course as an amazing stand-out, I did not realize what it was- the thought never even entered my head to hi-jack his thread. That was not my intent, I am one of his biggest fans on the board, I would never do such a thing, there are so many posts between his reviews, it's a bit confusing- I didn't pick up on that most are reacting his reviews and not the episodes themselves- it was a mistake, that's all. Thank you witchboy for the things you said, I appreciate it.

Oh, I don't think James would be terribly upset. His "re-watching" threads always get littered with responses anyway -- often contentious ones.
But one must spell Krystle's name right. If you look at the fine print, it's in your contract.

It ain't no thing, but I suppose one (or at least me) starts a thread like this hoping it will spark a discussion of the points raised, which entails referring back to what has been posted before, whether it's posts written by me or other people - as opposed to just posting another episode review in isolation. But that's just a personal preference, and everybody's free to post whatever they want. (Or maybe they're not, but that's for other people to worry about.)
I like the contentious ones. While it's very gratifying to be complimented on some life changing insight I may have had into Kirby's piano playing (I miss Mimi), it's also interesting to be challenged about certain things. I quite like having my mind changed.
No, it's far, far worse than that.
