Karen...Apain in the ass? or a genuine saint?

Karen fairgate to me is a wonderful women full of surprises and always on the go ..

but she is a bone of contention with quite a few people....
so what i want to know is... is karen too interfering because there is something lacking in her life? and it makes her such a massive pain to most..because she always has to be on a "crusade of sorts"...Oor..is she genuinely a lovely person who would give you her las rolo or dollar?
and fight your corner...yknow the best friend you ever had that wouldnt ever cheart on you?

Karen Fairgate exhibited both traits. But we all know a Karen Fairgate at work and/or in our neighborhood. My thinking is that there is very little difference between Michelle Lee and her character Karen Fairgate. I have a love hate opinion of Karen.

I think some people would lean on Karen because she's good at being leaned on, whilst others would object strongly to her interference. I do think however, that she's sensible and well meaning.

I think her heart is in the right place, but that she can also be too opionated and judging of others. she cant be a saint because she always assumes the worst of Abby, and surely a saint would look for the good in people?

personally I think she is a pain in the arse, bt not as annoying as Valene!

i Do like her very much she is kind of central to knots really abby is the epitome of very strong lady and therefore does tend to get lots more respect even when she does those juicy but questionable things eh?

i would love to go and get cosmetic surgury to have my eyes re modelled just like abbys but they would need to shave the bone to create a new hollow to get them that big looking but i am considering it why knot im a boring old frump at the mo and i could use a new lokk literally .

I suspect that it is possible to be both a saint and a pain in the ass. "It's not easy being married to a saint," as Karen herself once pointed out. I read an article recently that described her as "joyously sane". I like that description, and it feels especially applicable to the Karen we see in Season 10.

I think a lot of people who are the saintly, do-gooder, pollyanna, karen-types, are often seen as annoying pains in the butt.

But I think Karen was genuinely a good person who would do anything for the person or the cause that she loved.

I go with the others, at times, you like her, at times you can't stand her, but at the end of the day, you love her.

To me, she's best when she's solving something, the val's babies mysteries, Jill Benett plot, that's when I really got into Karen.

But other times, I never really got into her. Good girls are boring anyway, but she's an integral part of the show.

I liked her best in the early years, she had this all american mom thing going.

Karen was better in the earlier years, but then again, they all were. I guess the same old storylines will take their toll on anyone after awhile.

the best time to see Karen is when she's played by both Abby in season 2, Paige in season 8. Her obsession to nail them at the cross is interesting to watch. It reminded me of those kids in school who always like to tell on the teacher, but the teacher didn't do what they expected.

Karen was the moral center of the show. She was both a pain in the ass at times and pollyannaish pain in the ass.

Karen was the one character you could count on not to engage in hysterics, do anything sneaky or lie.
