Hello all, good to see so many buffy fans! Being 38 and male I'm not your average buffyhead, my ex-girlfriend got me into it several years ago and I have been a fan eversince. Anya is my favorite character not only is emma really pretty but she had some of the best lines. It really sucked when they killed her off, someone told me that emma wanted anya to die off anyone know if this is true?


Another question I have is do they still have buffy conventions, and if so where do you get info on them? Thanks for any responses.

I don't know anything about Buffy conventions in the US, I only know that London did the last Buffy convention this year and next year in May they will do the last Angel convention.

About Anya: Yes, I heard the same thing, Emma wanted Anya to die in the finale.
I was sad about Anya's death but since it only happened in the finale it's sort of okay for me. If they had done an 8th season...well, this would have sucked without Anya!

Thanks for the info Christine. Its sad though that they killed Anya off just when she was really getting her life back together, I wish they killed Xander, I never really liked him after he broke poor Anya's heart

Yes, I was mad at Xander too! There is this 1,600 year old person who has never loved a man before like she loved Xander and he isn't man enough to marry her. I never understood his reasons, I actually thought he loved her too. Oh, well.

I completely agree Christine, it sucks that Xander & Anya never were allowed to marry. I mean imagine Joss having them get married and struggle with it for the first year and then kill Anya off! That would have been even crueler but better drama...

Then again I hate that they killed off Anya in the first place...and as for the conventions....*sob* it's an end of an era...although I do think that the final conventions have been over-charged...as the kind of money that goes into it can make you broke for ages!

I find interesting that Xander and Willow both lost their soulmates. Sounds like a curse!
