DREAMING

The sea rushes gently to the shore,
Ripples in the sand,
My longing calls to the rising sun,
The trembling of my hand.

Tears well from the depths,
Deep springs of my soul,
Why has my world stood still?

I want to strive,
To live and love,
To sing and dance and fly...

Yet here I stand
With my feet in sand,
My arms stretched out
To the sky.....

(This was written at a sad time, I'm over it now!)

Crystal....we all have those moments..I wrote a poem called Cloak of Dispair...now how depressing was that...oh very..but it was my mindset at the time..and it was very healing..now I look back on it and see...a sad woman..oh well...it helps to vent your feelings...or so my therapist said..
