Default Knots Run on SoapNet- Season 1?

Does anyone know if Knots will start from Season 1 again on Soap Net? Maybe a different time slot? I've been waiting since they "started over" at Season 7 or 8 to see the parts I HAVEN'T seen (twice now). A ny thoughts?

I seem to recall them mentioning that they would start from the beginning this next time.

You never know with SoapNet. I guess we'll know in 4 weeks when season 14 is over (it can't go fast enough for me!)

Hell Yea the thought of it starting from the begining again is like Christmas morning! Especially after the drudgery of Season 14.

And you know, I have to say this. When they started from Season 8 last time, everyone threw a fit, including myself. We were all freaking out that they were trying to cash in on Nicollete's new success. But now, looking at the bigger picture, we have to realize that it actually did help re-popularize Knots. Many people who never watched it before now tuned in because they loved Ncolette on DH's. So we can't be mad at SoapNet for bringing Knots to a whole new audience. I mean, everyone deserves to be happy right? Everyone deserves Knots in their life. And maybe this did help speed up the release of the DVD's and even help trigger the idea for a reunion. At the same time, DH's can not deny that Knots paved the way for it's success. So it works both ways.

That's a good point Apploon. We also should keep in mind that SOAPnet renewed their contract with Knots this year. That is something they never do with their classic primetime series. Falcon Crest, Hotel, Sisters, etc. have all been axed, but Knots is still there and it's been there since the beginning.

Hopefully they will start from season one this time around. If the DVD's of season one come out later (say, April or June) in 2006, the SoapNet reruns will be much further along in the series. It would kinda suck if the timing was "off" and the DVD's came out at the same time the first or second seasons were airing on TV! The only people who would buy (rather than watch) would be poor folks like me, who don't get SoapNet.

If Warner and Disney were actually coordinating this thing, they'd probably not air the first half intentionally, just so they could force newbies (if there are any left!) to buy the DVD's out of curiosity!

    Default Season 1=Christmas Morning

    Apploon-
Love the analogy. So true, too. The only thing I liked about Season 13 was the theme (best of the bunch in my opinion). Well, Anne homeless was pretty good also. Season 14 had some potential to be interesting with Sumner leaving power, but with Val gone, Karen and Gary seemed "empty." That skank with the faux-British accent (Vanessa?) got more and more face time- which was a joke. Yes, they were trying to "freshen" it I suppose, and she wasn't bad to look at, but was that really the way to go? Claudia became a joke-- she could have been so much more complex and interesting-- and of the characters added later in the series-- she had the lineage/connection and brass to actually shake things up! But they just let her slide as a one-dimesnional manipulator who liked to blackmail people into sex (Nick/Alex?). Too bad.

I'm actually going to post that blurb to the main thread...

    Thanks for the update all!
