Because Julie skipped, Frank goes to school with her and sits in on her classes. She's mortified but they make up. Jason tells Mac his father died and he lives in a foster home. Mac talks to the school who says it isn't true. Mac goes to his house and hears his father beating him. Claudia tries to keep Paige from seeing Greg, and meanwhile makes a new will for Greg with her as executor. Greg has his operation and asks Paige to marry him. She accepts. Nick and Anne get married, using Paige's name. Alex asks Linda for confidential figures, so she has him sign a contract that he'll hire her if she's fired. Gary and Karen are concerned about Val's behavior. A doctor tells them she could be having brain seizures due to her fall. Val gets her haircut, leaving the twins home alone. They climb up onto the roof to play.

NOTE: Val has brain seizures due to her fall, which made her act crazy. She even gets a new haircut. Anne and Nick get married in this episode.
Kevin Dobson (Mack) directed this episode.
I think this is the first time in a soap a haircut was actually believable for the script instead of appearing between scenes where it could not possibly happen.
The whole scene with the twins calling Gary "son a a bitch" was over-the-top and even a bit inappropriate. I felt embarrassed for the show doing that, it's almost a new "low."
OkAY, I love Linda. When Paige told her "you work for me, not with me," I just wished Linda had reached in there and slapped the hell out of her. It makes me dislike her when she acts like that- if the writers could give us some REASON for it, I would understand, but there does not seem to be one except that Paige is a bitch.
Jason Lochner might have more meaning if most of us did not know he gets shipped off to Sweden as soon as the show uses him for Mac's big "acting" scenes in the show. He, like Linda and Olivia, had potential and were cut out and there seemed no real reason for it. But no character was "used" like Jason Lochner, then erased as if they did not even exist. Knots Landing gives a poor example on how to be a foster parent.
