Default who did Jim Davis/Jock Ewing painting?

Minor trivia question nagging at my brain -- who painted the Jim Davis/Jock Ewing portrait that hung so prominently at Southfork and Ewing Oil over the years? I've never seen a credit on-air or off.

That painting should have received an acting credit -- the characters talked to it enough.

But it might have been hard to figure out how to give it one of those three-split screen title cards at the start of the show:

Jock's portrait in the afternoon sun from the windows/Jock's portrait at night, barely illuminated by a reading lamp/Jock's portrait with Sue Ellen's drink hitting it as it missed J.R.'s head...

for some reason the original painting changed in the later years, suddenly you find a fence painted in front of jock, dont know what all that was about,,, Anyway the painting is in its rightful place (still hanging at the fireplace of southfork.).

The painting didn't change during the series, but a different picture WAS used in "JR Returns".

The second painting is the one that hangs at Southfork. Supposedly, Larry Hagman has the original picture.

I once started a thead called "Starring Jock Portrait" so something similar, in which I discussed how that painting had a key role in so many scenes. It was as if the character of Jock was made to live on in that painting long after Jim Davis died.

That portrait was a wonderful and lasting tribute to Jim Davis. I could sure feel Jock's presence everytime I saw it!
