    LMAO Excellent post!

But Wil Wheaton? I thought Wesley Crusher put the nail in the coffin of his acting career. And where be Marina Sirtis and Michael Dorn? I think they would fit right into the Dallas TNG mileu. She in particular is very bling bling and about the right height to play an offspring of Lucy...

There are no plans for a new Dallas, sorry. It would also be useful if people could add a source when declareing these things, helps people to differentiate between fact and fiction

(QUOTE)With re-run here in France, Larry is inteviewed and says he's ok to play JR again if producers ask him. He also adds that a "dallas, next generation" is possible with John Ross and Christopher starring. What do you think about this new series?

I recently read this post. Maybe this is what everyone is talking about.

I personally can't see it happening...They wont even take a chance on another reunion movie to tie up the ends!

I would love to see a new Dallas series, but I will be knock-me-over-with-a-feather shocked if it actually happens.

Part of "JR Returns" in 1996, was to test the waters for this very project, it was turned down by CBS.

I think Larry did an interview in France and was printed in a French Magazine.
He said Dallas, The Next Generation was a possibility.
I guess we have to wait and see.

He probably said it before 1996, I actually read the article on what I posted.

Too much time has passed now, and it would NEVER be able to hold up to the original.
