The Changes At Ewing Oil

Did anyone find it odd that Ewing Oil changed from Ewing to Ewing a lot ? It seems to me that would weaken the company a great deal, especially since JR and Bobby were so different in business practices.

Wouldn't Bobby have to step down from his duties at Ewing Oil when he became state senator? Seems a conflict of interest that the government would not allow.

Bobby has already passed the power of Ewing Oil back over to JR. But yes, I agree, he would have to relinquish his position if he was still President of Ewing Oil.

J.R. and Bobby had different methods in working in the oil business, but they knew a hell of a lot more about the oil business than a nobody like Michelle Stevens. Had she kept the company I bet she would have ended up destroying the company in 6 months!
